KG is actually quite the post padder in other leagues. Or was at least. I personally don't give a shit about other leagues and thats why I'm not in other leagues. I know Reilly is the same way maybe that contributes to our success.

I dont mind being in the honorable mention and the other names I don't mind being there
Heres some other who should be there though
Skillz- Absolutley same as me always retooling then rebuilding and in the long run gets absolute jack shit accomplished
Lumley- Eventhough he won alot in the beginning he did it very KG'esque giving away many of his futures.
Scott- Scott really hasn't done much of anything as of late

Scott actually has done quite a bit of late, it was the first 6 years h didnt do anything. Lumley just doesnt have time to be active. hes shown when he puts his mind to it he can do a good job. He really just needs an Asst to do DCs.

Scott- Scott really hasn't done much of anything as of late Skillz has himself a nice young team right now and hasn't been in the league long enough to be tossed into the fire pits yet. Lumley has always been around the top of the western conference and has some young guys and his own pick to build around as well as some veteran players that still have talent. He should be ok barring a major catastrophic trade. Activity is a ? his time on a comp is limited. Scott was set back by the Howard trade and was coming off a major knee surgery which hindered his activity. He has picked it up and has a great young team to work with and is actually winning some games. Barbosa, Gordon, Wallace, Griffin, Lafrenz with Big Dog(who needs to be bought out at the season's end) On to you Pig you haven't had a dominating season and have been below average for the duration of the league. You seem to try and contend and quickly change your mind to rebuild. When you go from Contender, Rebuild, Contender, etc every other season I doubt you will ever be a really competitive franchise. Your activity is great and you bring a lot to the table for the sake of the league.

All I can say for myself is when I'm active I learn a little each day, BBS is different then most leagues I'm in because I usually field very competitive teams in them, I think I just get outsmarted and outplayed by the guys who focus on this as there only sim.

As it comes to the contending-rebuilding-contending philosophy which I ll be the first to admit is true, I believe if you don't have a team to win it all then it is time to rebuild, I was forced to make some type of move to make the playoffs this year (and DJ I dont really give what your fucking opinion on the matter is, I was forced to compete this year) really somewhat threw me off balance. But the road is never paved perfectly and their is always bumps in the road so I ll just take it and roll.

Yea Pig don't take anything I said as in insult and I think you just need direction at times and I think you start to realize that with age and experience. When you don't have your pick I think it's a great idea to be a big player in free agency and try to field a competitive team for a season or 2 and sign players that will be easy to trade for picks. Signing players like KVH or Joe Smith to 15 mil deals are not easy to deal but if you got them for 7-8 mil then that would be a great signing because you can easily ship them to a competitor for a first and who knows whatever contract they give back you can deal for a first. You could go through this process for 2-3 seasons before you start actually seeing improvement to your franchise but thats what rebuilding is all about. It's when you deviate off this path and trade 2-3 firsts for a player that you think will carry you into the playoffs when realistically the playoffs are a stretch and a championship is not even realistic.
