Team strengths:
Youth-We have Griffin, Wallace, Gordon, and Barbosa who are all 23 and younger and will be playing significant minutes this year. A couple of RCs each should turn these 4 into quite a cornerstone
Depth-We have a lot of players who could be borderline starters on some teams and they are going to be our primary backups. Bob Sura, Morris Peterson, Wally Sczerbiak, and Nazr Mohammed
Team weaknesses:
Lack of inside game-Gerald Wallace is our best rated inside scorer but he's obviously more of a finisher at the rim. We are planning on playing a fast-paced outside focused offense to try and offset this weakness
Rebounding-Since we will be playing a smaller, faster lineup that means Glenn Robinson and Eddie Griffin will be our starting 4/5 so we will have trouble getting boards. Hopefully I can get some steals and blocks from guys like Wallace and Griffin to help here
Key Player:
We really don't have a key player at this point, but Barbosa could turn into this guy over time. Since I really haven't had a chance to see Barbosa, Gordon, and Wallace play, I can't say for sure that Barbosa will be my key player. However, I think he'll strive in a faster paced offense like I'd like to run
Outlook:
We still feel like we are in a rebuilding mode, but there's a chance we could win a good number of games and possibly come close to the playoffs. In the end, we are expecting to be around the #10 pick int he draft probably and looking to add another star with a good amount of cap room in next year's free agency
