- Dwight Howard C/PF - Man-child. 6'11 and 265 lbs at age 18. Superior strength and jumping ability. Should have the ability to rebound and block shots from day one. Needs to develop back to the basket skills and shooting touch. Raw offensively. Reminds many scouts of a young Alonzo Mourning, only with a bigger frame. Scary potential.
- Andre Iguodala G/F - Extremely athletic and versatile wing. Displays good ball handling skills and passing ability. Could play the point if needed. Excellent slasher and finisher on the fast break. Likes to finish strong near the hoop. Good defender, with long arms and quick feet. Shooting touch needs work. Lacks 3pt range at this point.
- Josh Smith F - A highlight waiting to happen. Prototypical small forward. Loves to dunk the ball in transition and uses jumping ability to grab offensive rebounds. Defensive potential is sky high. Long arms, great leaper and a natural shot blocker. Very young and raw. Needs to improve ball handling skills. Not much of a shooter at this point. Questionable work ethic.
- Loul Deng F - Another prototype small forward. Excellent size at the 3 with very long arms. Good finisher around the basket and shows a developing mid range game. Good defensive ability and potential. Gives solid effort on the glass. Good athlete, but not exceptional. Poor 3pt shooter. Ball handling can improve.
- Marvin Williams F - Yes, another prototype small forward. Great frame and a very good athlete. Size and leaping ability allow him to finish well inside. Good rebounder. Lacks a consistent jump shot. Defensive potential, but needs alot of work. A pf/sf tweener. Will he be able to defend the 3?
- Al Jefferson C/PF - 6'10, 265. Has enough size and bulk to handle his own in the paint from the get go. Displays nice footwork and good back to the basket skills. A legit post presence on offence. Shows good potential as a rebounder. Uses his width to box out well. Above average athlete. Needs to develop a jump shot. Needs time to develop.
- Charlie Villanueva F - Highly skilled and capable of playing multiple positions. Offence comes easy to him. Soft touch near the basket. Nice first step and good ball handler. Has the ability to make the spectacular pass. Shows range on his jump shot. Potential to be a solid 3pt threat. Very good offensive rebounder. Fluid and smooth athlete. Questionable work ethic and desire. Will struggle defensively as he lacks motivation and plays soft in his own end.
- Andris Biedrins C/PF - Long and lanky interior presence. Possesses good quickness. Known as a good defender in Europe. Can rebound the basketball on both ends. Young but has plenty of professional experience. Dominated last years first round pick, Darko Milicic, in head to head matchup 2 years ago. Very raw offensively. Lacks a jump shot. Physically weak.
- Devin Harris G - Explosive combo guard that can penetrate and finish inside. Has an excellent first step and good lateral quickness. Has the potential to be a very good perimeter defender at the next level. Not a true point, but can play the position adequately. Solid ball handling ability but lacks court vision. Needs to improve as a perimeter threat and work on setting his teammates up more consistently.
- Hakim Warrick F - Extremely long wing player. More of an undersized 4 than a true 3. Exceptional finisher in the paint. Great leaper. Has the ability to defend multiple positions. Decent shot blocker. Very thin and weak. Will get pushed out of position. Ball handling and jump shot both need to be improved.
