- LeBron James- The prize of this years draft class. James just oozes potential. At 6'8, 240lbs, he's just as athletic as any player currently playing in the BBS. He possess a lightning quick first step, hops that don't stop and passing ability that is superior to many point guards. The sky is the limit for this kid. Strong candidate for Rookie of the Year honours.
- Chris Bosh - A long, lanky forward with excellent quickness. What Bosh lacks in size and strength, he makes up for with skill and athleticism. He possesses a developing mid range game, solid handles for a big and like James, has a ton of potential. Needs to bulk up.
- Emeka Okafor - A blocked shot waiting to happen. Okafor is a legit defensive presence before having played a game in the Pros. Blessed with quick hops and good instincts, Okafor reminds some of a young Ben Wallace, with offensive potential. There are injury concerns, but nothing major at this point.
- Tj Ford - A true point that is a blur on the court. Ford has top notch handles, great vision and a 5th gear few can match. Much of Ford's game is based on speed and he will need to develop his scoring touch in order to keep defences honest. Size is an issue.
- Kirk Hinrich - The son of a basketball coach and it shows. Captian Kirk is a very intelligent player with a good set of skills. Hinrich projects to become a very good shooter and capable assist man and has some defensive ability. What kind of potential he really has is uncertain.
- Ben Gordon - An undersized shooting guard that can fill it up. Gordon has a powerful body, a quick first step and 3pt range. He's also proven himself to be clutch in important situations. Whether Gordon finds a starting role or comes off the bench, he will find a way to put points on the board.
- Darko Milicic - A big project with big upside. This 18 year old is 7 feet tall and a solid 250lbs. He has good quickness for a big and can play both power forward and center. His perimeter skills are more advanced than his power game at this point, but he does show some shot blocking ability.
- Chris Kaman - Good size and skill set. Kaman is a player that can do a little bit of everything at the center position. He has a fairly developed low post game, can rebound and is adequate defensively. Not a great athlete, but not terrible either. At 21, he has room to grow, but some scouts believe he has limited potential.
- Leandro Barbosa - Speed is his game. A great first step and excellent overall quickness allows Barbosa to get into the lane at will and to exploit teams in transition. A legit 3pt threat. He has adequate handles but does not project as a starting point guard. More of a combo guard/6th man, he should provide the team that drafts him with scoring punch off the bench. Has potential and may surprise down the line.
- Luke Ridnour - Another true point. Good handles and vision. Is also a solid shooter. Lacks great quickness and strength. May not have star potential but should become a contributor at the next level.
