- Denver Nuggets (9-42) - The clear-cut favorites at landing LeBron James. They don't have a single player on their roster that should be a starter on any BBS team and it shows putting up 82.4PPG, which places them nicely in last in that statistic. A tough schedule down the stretch puts them first in the LeBron James sweepstakes.
- Milwaukee Bucks (8-38) - The Bucks are at a huge disadvantage here having, the albeit very raw but future superstar, Carmelo Anthony. Carmelo's talent alone should win them a couple of games and that should hurt their chances in landing the prized last place spot in the standings.
- New Orleans Hornets (10-39) - The Hornets have a very young team and it shows losing a ton of close games. The fact that New Orleans can't play any defense, allowing over 100ppg leads many to believe that New Orleans could very well land in that very coveted last place spot.
- Minnesota Timberwolves(Draft Pick Owned by New York) (16-35) The Timberwolves continue winning games, and no one knows how. The Timberwolves franchise is in total disarray and I suppose not owning their own 1st round draft pick this season is motivating the team to compete. With that being said, the Timberwolves should put up a huge fight at landing a last place spot. A tough schedule up coming and have no starter worthy talent on the team should make the New York Knicks franchise extremely happy.
- Los Angeles Clippers (13-41) - The Los Angeles Clippers traded away all their talent at hopes of possibly landing LeBron James. The sad thing is GM Galo Peasant was not expecting 10 other teams to do so. Any other draft the Los Angeles Clippers would undoubtedly be the worst team in the league, not this season. Many questioned this boneheaded move, but the Clippers do have one thing going for them... they are the second lowest scoring team in BBS only behind the Denver Nuggets and they should put up a fight, or lack there of, as the end of the season approaches.
