.Phoenix-Amare Stoudemire PF....The Suns need a lot. They need a go to scorer and upgrades at pretty much every spot. With Stoudemire they get an elite PF or C who can be a #1 option. Stoudemire, Stromile Swift and Bobby Simmons give the Suns a nice young front court and hope for the future.
.Boston-Yao Ming C....The Celtics haven't been the same without Shawn Braldye patrolling the middle. And with Karl Malone near retirement the Celtics also need a low block scorer. Yao fills both needs. Yao will be a defensive presence in the middle and also score 15-18 points per game as a rookie.
.Miami-Caron Butler SF....The Heat have built an impressive young lineup with a considerable hole at SF. Butler will fit right in. Caron Butler has a nice balanced game, and can defend a little as well. Butler, Gasol and O'Neal will be a nice front court to build around in Miami.
.Milwaukee-Carlos Boozer PF....The Bucks have traded away pretty much everyone in hopes that they can start fresh. Boozer will come in and start at PF from Day 1 and put up double digit points and rebounds. Boozer isnt the kind of player that will turn things around quickly, so expect a long rebuilding process in Milwaukee.
.New York-Nene C....The Knicks have only 1 player theyd like to keep off their current roster in Kenyon Martin. Adding a player like Nene will give KMart the help down low that he needs. nene can play C and give the Knicks 2 guys that can score and board at PF and C. Because the Knicks have no back court to speak of expect them to be in the lotto for the next couple of years.
.Houston-Kwame Brown PF....The Rockets havent had much luck with their lotto selections in the short history of the BBS, so they need a good pick here. Most wouldn't risk taking such an unknown player like Kwame Brown, but his skill set is intriguing. Brown can start along side Tyson Chandler and allow Lamar Odom to play SF or SG.
.Denver-Tayshaun Prince SF....The Nuggets are already very good at SF with Antawn Jamison, but they cant pass on a player like Tayshaun Prince. Prince is an elite defender that will be a nice 3rd option. Prince might even be a better defender at the SG spot.
.Utah-Gerald Wallace SF....The Jazz love Richard Jefferson's defense, but they might grow to love Gerald Wallace's D even more. Wallace at SF and RJ at SG will give opposing teams nightmares.
.LA Lakers-Nenad Krstic C....The Lakers already have 4 young talented big men, but adding a player like Krstic is a no brainer. He should be a very good player and will give the Lakers the ability to make a deal if necessary.
.Atlanta-Drew Gooden PF....The Hawks had aspirations of Amare and Yao, but with Ray Allen and Steve Francis scoring in bunches the losses just didn't come. Drew Gooden will be a nice addition in the Hawks thin front court. Gooden will probably start and be a double digit rebounder as a rookie.
