-Golden State-Dwyane Wade PG...The Warriors desperately need not only a go to scorer, but also a franchise player. They get both here in Wade. Wade can play 1 or 2 and be the #1 option for the Warriors as a rookie.
-Miami-Gilbert Arenas PG...The Miami Heat already have their SG of the future in Rip Hamilton, adding Arenas gives them an explosive back court. Arenas might not be a true point, but he will be an elite scorer. Arenas and Hamilton will eventually combine for 45-50 a night.
-Toronto-Pau Gasol PF...The Raps really need a center who can play some defense, but they cant pass on a great low post player like Gasol. Gasol will give the Raps a great low post scorer as a 3rd option behind Tracy McGrady and Michael Redd. Hopefully Gasol can D enough at the 5 spot to make the Raps contenders.
-Detroit-Joe Johnson SG...The Pistons have 2 of the best players in the league, and are now adding 3 top 10 picks to the mix. They start with Joe Johnson. JJ can play 1, 2 or 3 and can become a perfect scoring compliment to Shaquille O'Neal.
-Detroit-Richard Jefferson SF...The Pistons think about adding Jason Richardson but go with Richard Jefferson because of RJs ability to defend. Jefferson should be a very good scorer, but an elite defender at the SF spot.
-New York-Jason Richardson SG...The Knicks really needed a #1 scorer and get just that in Jason Richardson. Richardson has insane jumping ability and an improving jumper. Richardson and Ben Wallace give the Knicks a nice core for the future.
-Utah-Zach Randolph PF...The Jazz have a plethora of small players but no real PF. Adding Zach Randolph not only fills in their 4 spot, it also helps with their rebounding problem. Brad Miller and Randolph should be an outstanding duo at PF and C.
-Detroit-Tyson Chandler PF...The Pistons add some more defense with Tyson Chandler. Hell step in and back up 4 and 5 as a rookie, and eventually take over for Antonio McDyess. Chandler should be an A- defender and rebounder.
-LA Lakers-Eddy Curry C...The Lakers really need a point guard and a center. Curry gives the Lakers a very good low post scorer who could develop into a decent defender. Adding Curry to Jermaine O'Neal and Kobe Bryant gives the Laker faithful hope for the future.
-Miami-Memo Okur PF...The Heat already having added Gilbert Arenas, look to go big with this pick. Although they'd prefer a youngster like Chandler or Curry, adding a player like Memo Okur may be a better fit. He can play 4 or 5 and can also be a 3rd scoring option behind Arenas and Hamilton.
