Strengths: Depth...We have good talent two-deep at every position. Our balanced scoring attack helps make up for the lack of a 3rd scorer. Robinson and Stackhouse are a strong 1-2 punch on the wings.
Weaknesses: Our lack of a 3rd scorer and lack of interior defense worries management. We seem to have helped alleviate the 3rd scorer with a bench that can put up points (thanks to Schrempf and Fizer namely). Our lack of interior defense seems to be improving a little bit as Knight and Potapenko are averaging a combined 3 blocks per game at the C position. PF defense is a little weak, but there will be chances to address that.
Franchise player: This has to be the tandem of Glenn Robinson and Jerry Stackhouse. Both of these guys are scorers, and I couldn't function as a team without one or the other. If I had to pick one, it would be Robinson by a hair.
Team outlook: The Cavs are hoping to make their first playoff appearance after finishing the last two seasons just short of the playoffs, finishing with the 13th pick in each of the last two drafts. Anything we do in the playoffs will be above and beyond our expectations because of our past.
Trade block: As of now, management is happy with the team we are putting on the court. One possible area to improve would be to trade Howard for another PF that can score but also defend better than Howard.
