Team strengths: Defense, outside shooting
Extremely solid defensive team. We force a lot of turnovers, have amazing size (3 seven-footers in the starting lineup) and don't really have any weak defenders starting. Allen Iverson, Raef LaFrentz and Andre Miller all improved their outside shooting, and Reggie Miller is the best shooter in the sim.
Team weaknesses: inside scoring
I feel this is the only missing ingredient to being a completely balanced team. Dikembe is good for double-digit scoring, but he doesn't do much outside of putbacks and cannot be an option. Raef is a solid inside scorer but he doesn't put the ball on the floor well, which sets him back in the post. Arvydas Sabonis lost some offensive game in the TC, and we're hoping we land Patrick Ewing to finally have an inside threat.
Franchise Player: Allen Iverson
No doubt about it. He may be available, but he's a ridiculous talent. Rebound amazingly at his size, can play the 1 and 2, creates a mismatch for anyone guarding him, and can score from any spot on the court. And, at 25, he's got room to grow. No regrets about landing him.
Trade Block: We are looking for upgrades. Andre Miller is shaping up to be a stud at PG, but if there's a better PG out there, we will move him. The same can be said for any player at any position. We will make moves for upgrades because we think we can win it all.
Outlook: This team is a championship contender. Having lost in last year's finals, we added size and had some major improvements to key players like Raef LaFrentz and Andre Miller. If we can add Patrick Ewing, this may be the best team in the league.
