1-Portland Baron Davis The Blazers really need a point guard and a Franchise player and they get both in Baron Davis. Davis and Larry Hughes should make a dynamic backcourt in Portland. 2-Toronto Ron Artest The Raptors have the chance to add another elite defender to team with Andrei Kirilenko and they wont pass it up. With AK at power forward, and Ron Artest at small forward the Raps will be a nightmare defensively. Oh and thet Tracy mcGrady guy isnt so bad either. 3-Houston Tony Parker The Rockets could go in two directions here. They could take Tony Parker or Michael Redd. Theyll probably be leaning towards Parker because they alreayd have 2 good young wings in Rashard Lewis and Corey Maggette. Parker will give them another 20 or under player to build around. 4-San Antonio Michael Redd The Spurs could really use a post presence or a point guard, but they can pass up Michael Redd. Redd and Vince Carter could be an elite scoring duo who could reach 50 points a ight once they hit their prime. 5-Miami Lamar Odom The Heat already have a couple of nice young wings in Richard Hamilton and Stephen Jackson, so adding a player like Lamar Odom to play power forward gives them some amazing flexibility. Odom could become a unique, multi-dimensional big man. 6-Memphis Kenyon Martin The Grizz need a nice big man to compliment Grant Hill, and Kenyon Martin is just that. KMart and Hill should combine to give the Grizz a nice foward combination for the next decade. 7-Chicago Manu Ginobili The BUlls hope to strike gold again in the draft. A year after landing super stud Elton Brand, the Bulls want to acquire an outside threat to balance their offense. A player like Manu Ginobili is not only a good scoring spect, but can also defend and handle. 8-Philadelphia Jamal Magloire The Sixers really wanted to move up and get someone like Artest or Redd, but their late season surge puts them in position to land Jamaal Magloire. Magloire is a project, but he could give the Sixers a extra large frontline with Zydrunas Ilgauskas at center, and Magloire at power forward. 9-Phoenix Mike Miller The Suns need a big time defensive presence down low, but there are none available. A player like Mike Miller fits in with their other young scorers and could be a solid 6th man candidate for this young exciting squad. 10-Seattle Darius Miles The Sonics already have an amazing young base in Jermaine O'Neal, Peja Stojakovic and Steve Nash. They can afford to try and take the player with the most upside. Darius Miles could become a very intriguing bench player for the up and coming Sonics. 11-Denver Quentin Richardson The Nuggets need an outside presence badly and get just that in Quentin Richardson. Q will be a nice compliment to the inside scoring of Joe Smith and Antawn Jamison. 12-Cleveland Stromile Swift The Cavs need some more defense in a big way, and soemone like Stromile Swift could grow into a solid defender down low. Unfortunately for the Cavs, Swift is 2 or 3 years away. 13-New York Speedy Claxton The Knicks are in the beginning of their rebuilding project so they can use youth pretty much everywhere. I player like Speedy Claxton wont wow people, but hell be a solid performer at point guard for years to come.

Artest and Ak would be pretty nasty.
VC and Redd would also be quite amazing.

nice read, baron would be really nice to land. I can see us getting out of the one spot because of lotto though.

The end of round 1 will be very interesting also. Some surprises, and dissapointments.

Good read and any player in the top 5 would fit perfectly on my team.

I'd love to get Artest and bring him to NY but that wont happen. Hopefully i lose more games and move up a couple of spots.

well i wouldn't be upset with manu because i love his game except when he plays my mavs. I like alot of other players in this draft as well. Artest I would love to get, Odom just has so many possibilities, mike redd i am always a fan of pure shooters, and mike miller excites me. So unless I fall out of the top 10 I won't be upset but I think I am going to inflate Brands numbers last few sims and get him some hardware MVP.

i been looking over this draft file and doing some krupimpski scouting and i am just puzzled. This draft has so many tossups from top to bottom. I think a fine job by Spencer to keep us all on our toes. I am curious to see if K-Marts stock rises due to the fact he is the only legit big man of the draft. Otherwise all these guards look so simular with just minor differences. Who blows up and who gets marginaly better, and who stays the same...I have yet to figure any of it out.

i'm torn on my draft board....i have about 5-6 guys with the same krupimpski scout grade. It's like playing Russian roulette. I am also not sold on these mock drafts by anyone.
