A look at the Top 10 Power Forwards in the BBS.
-Shaquille O'Neal-Although probably a little out of position at power forward, Shaq is the most dominant player in the BBS, so he is #1 on every list. The reigning Regular Season and Playoff MVP has a room in his house just to stockpile BBS awards.
-Kevin Garnett-KG has shown to be a true franchise player. By himself he has made the Pacers a playoff contender. Once KG gets some help, the Pacers could be a perennial 50 win team.
-Elton Brand-Elton Brand has had a dominating rookie season. His numbers are inflated because his teammates are less then adequate, but his shear dominance is amazing. He is a lock for Rookie of the Year.
-Chris Webber-CWebb is having another amazing year down in Phoenix. 24 points and 13 boards puts him in All-League contention. If only the Suns could give him a little help maybe they could get to .500.
-Danny Fortson-A very surprising entry this high, Fortson has played unbelievably well over the first 2 seasons of BBS. An elite rebounder, Fortson has also been the top scoring option in LA while Kobe matures into the All-World player everyone thinks he'll become.
-Shawn Kemp-Kemps numbers are down a bit from last year, but The Reign Man is still an elite player. One of the few 20-10 players in the BBS.
-Antonio McDyess-Antonio McDyess has seen his numbers drop a bit in Detroit, but McDyess and Shaq combine to make a formidable low post combo.
-Ben Wallace-An elite up and coming defender, Wallace makes his presence felt on the defensive side of the court. Hes good for 10+ boards and 3+ blocks.
-Theo Ratliff-Ratliff is a poor mans Ben Wallace with a little more offensive game. Ratliff has been a key contributor to the impressive Clippers.
-Joe Smith-Joe Smith has had a good year for the Nuggets, averaging over 20 points and nearly 10 boards. Smith and Antawn Jamison give the Nuggets one of the more impressive young forward combinations.
