Strengths: Starting lineup. I have a well above-average starter at every position, including a total stud (TD) and a future stud (Bibby). Gary Trent is an amazing simmer. He's putting up 18.8 and 10.5, with great %'s. Strickland is doing exactly what I need him to do with so many scorers on the floor, averaging 9 APG. Houston's ratings don't look great (C+/A- scorer, down from B-/A- last season), but he still sims great. My lineup works, evidenced by the fact that I'm 6-2 in games with Bibby.
Weaknesses: Depth. I'm about to acquire some, but as of now, I'm lacking. I don't have a true backup PG with PG handles, so I'm forced to play Bibby back there when he isn't playing SG. My best big man is Chris Dudley, and I don't really have a backup swingman. I need to make a move before the deadline.
Franchise Player: Tim Duncan. He'd be any teams franchise player, IMO. I thought he was the best in the sim before the season, and nothing has changed my mind at all. He leads the league in scoring (28.5), 4th in the league in rebounding (12.2), 3rd in the league in blocks, and 7th in FG%. At age 23, I really don't see myself dealing him for 5+ seasons. I want to build around him.
Outlook: Championship. I'm on pace for 53 wins. I'm 6-2 since making the biggest deal of my franchise. I've beaten the T'Wolves, Magic, and Pistons this year. I have the talent. Hopefully they sim well when the time comes.
