A look at the Top 10 Centers in the BBS.
-Tim Duncan-TD owns perhaps the most amazing ratings in the league. If A- C- C- A+ A- isn't impressive enough, check out these numbers.... 28.5 ppg and 12.2 rpg with 3.1 blocks. Expect him to lead the Nets to the Finals soon.
-Alonzo Mourning-Mourning has already been part of one of the biggest trades in BBS history. ZO was traded to the Wolves for 6 1sts and filler, and he has been worth every bit of that so far. Mourning is currently averaging 26 and 10 on Minnesota's huge front line.
-Hakeem Olajuwon-Hakeem is the oldest member of the Tri-Towers in Minnesota. Olajuwon is averaging 22 points and 10 boards even at age 36.
-David Robinson-The Admiral is the final member of the Wolves impressive front line. Robinson is putting also putting up 22 points and 10 boards.
-Patrick Ewing-Ewing is still an elite center although he is nearing retirement. Averaging 20 points and 10 boards, this could be Pats last season.
-Dikembe Mutombo-Despite a limited offensive game, Deke makes this list solely on defense and rebounding. Nearly 13 boards and over 3 blocks makes Mutombo arguably the best defensive center in the league.
-Micheal Olowokandi-At 24 the Kandi Man is one of the better young centers in the league. Although his stats may be inflated because hes played on poor teams, 18 points and 10 boards cannot be denied.
-Shawn Bradley-Although a complete liability on offense, Bradley can be a game changer on defense. His 7-6 frame creates havoc for opposing offenses. Bradley is good for 3.5 blocks and 1.5 steals per game.
-Brad Miller-The reigning Rookie of the Year, Miller is having a stellar sophomore campaign as well. Miller is averaging 17 points and nearly 10 boards on an improving Jazz squad.
-Arvydas Sabonis-Sabonis is an int regal part of the Clippers amazing play this season. Averaging 17 points and 11 boards, Sabonis, like many of the centers on this list, is nearing retirement. Half of this list may be retired within 3 seasons.
