*Some of the players included in this Mock have not declared for this draft.
.Miami Heat- Elton Brand PF-The consensus number 1 pick fits in perfectly with the rebuilding plan in Miami. The Heat have a strong young backcourt in Larry Hughes and Mike Bibby. Adding Brand gives them an excellent young inside-outside combo. Expect Brand to put up 18 and 10 as a rookie.
.Seattle Supersonics- Baron Davis PG-Some still wonder if Baron will come out. he has voiced that he wants to be a #1 pick, and with Brand almost certainly coming out, some believe Davis will go back to UCLA ffor 1 more year. If the Sonics do land Davis, theyll have a great young trio to build around. Add Davis to Peja Stojakovic, and Jermaine O'Neal and you can see whay the Sonics will be one of the better teams over the next 10 years.
.Chicago Bulls- Shawn Marion SF-Marion is an excellent rebounder and defender from the small forward spot. Hell be the best player on the floor for the Bulls from Day 1.
.Chicago Bulls(from Dallas)- Ron Artest SF-If the Bulls can land Artest and Marion theyll have 2 of the best defensive wings in all of the BBS. Artest is still uncertain as to whther hell announce his eligibility, but if he does he is a top 5 talent.
.Toronto Raptors- Andrei Kirilenko SF-The Raptors already have a young franchise player in Tracy McGrady. If they can add Kirilenko, theyll have a super complimentary player that will be an All-League defensive type player.
.Houston Rockets- Steve Francis PG-The Rockets need a legit go to scorer, and Francis could be just that. With NVE already penciled in as a PG in Houston, draft Francis means hell play SG primarily.
.Utah Jazz- Richard Hamilton SG-The Jazz could really use a young point guard, but with a scorer available like Richard Hamilton the Jazz just cant pass him up. Hamilton will team up with Jalen Rose to give the Jazz a nice young wing combination.
.Philadelphia 76ers- Lamar Odom SF-The Sixers need to add talent around point guard of the future Stephon Marbury. A player like Odom can play either forward spot, and develop into a great complimentary player.
.Portland Blazers- Manu Ginobili SG-The Blazers would like to build around Steve Nash. This means adding good defensive players who have the ability to knock down open shots. Ginobili fits the bill perfectly. Expect Nash and Manu to be one of the top backcourts in the BBS for many years.
.Indiana Pacers Andre Miller PG--The Pacers tried to experiment with AI at point, and it dodnt work out so well. Adding a point guard like Andre Miller would seem to be a perfect fit. Miller can handle, penetrate and score, which should all compliment AI well.
