Hey I don't know if you guys are interested or know about this, but this is a great website for Basketball and Football College recruits. footballrecruiting.rivals.com/viewrank.asp?SID=880&Year=2008&ra_key=1803Thing to note; Alabama just got this stud WR Julio Jones: Ht: 6-foot-4 Wt: 215 lbs Forty: 4.48 secs Bench max: 315 pounds Squat max: 505 pounds Vertical: 41 inches Shuttle: 4.69 secs This man is a freak of nature! Too bad Wisconsin blows at recruiting, they ranked 41st in their football recruits.

Wisconsin's classes are always extremely good, but don't show up among the top classes because they recruit primarily from the midwest. They'll bring in system players that'll do extremely well for them, but don't have the individual stars out of HS. People with knowledge of recruiting classes actually like their class quite a bit.

Yeah I guess getting players that fit their style of play doesn't necessarily show up on the rankings. It's just frustrating that certain schools, like Notre Dame, come away with many highly rated players that could go to a better system.
Regarding the ratings, I was looking at Luke Swan and they only rated him 1 star and PJ Hill only got 2, so like you said, you never know with the ratings. If you look at previous recruiting classes, Wisconsin's hasn't been ranked highly, yet the team performed very well the past couple of years.
This year UW recruited a lot of DE, OL and they seem to have gotten a decent QB. However, it would nice to see them get at least some individual stars that aren't solely from the state of Wisconsin. Aside from Fernando, I want some freaks who can bench 400 in my Math class!

I have a Rivals account so I can see all of the premium info. It's like 100 bucks a year or something. I don't think I'll renew it, but it's great.

I think it was the only thing I wanted for my birthday last year, so the price wasn't a big deal.
