Yes, the good ole days. It's a good time to reminisce, since I turn 30 on Sunday.

Lucky bastard.
Yeah, I'm hoping I can get most of, if not all of it paid for via scholarships & financial aid. My GPA is basically among the top there is in my grade, and my SAT scores will be high as well, so I'm hoping to get a lot of it paid for, because the price is absolutely insane these days.

Basically the 5 schools on my list are:
Syracuse Fordham Ithaca Boston U UPenn
I'm almost positive I'd get into the first 3, would probably get into Boston U, Penn is a reach, but my dad went there so just by the sheer chance I get in, I'll apply, and he wants me to.
Then, there's a few others schools such as Drexel & Nova that I might apply to if I figure out for 100% what my major will be.

Being a legacy never hurts, so if your dad went to Penn and your grades are solid, wouldn't surprise me to see you get accepted there.

Yeah.
Well, my cumulative GPA for my first 2 years was a 4.23, this year, so far it's a 4.14(2 honors, 2 AP classes).
Keep in mind, I go to a private school, so it's more challenging then most public schools, at least in the state of Jersey.

Yeah, that's a crazy good GPA. If you have some good extra-curriculars I don't see why you wouldn't have a good shot.

I don't get your GPA system, like how you can do stuff or assignments etc... for extra points and all. Dunno, just seems way to confusing....

I was overqualified and got waitlisted, and a few people here told me the same thing. Who knows.

I don't play any sports for my school, but I'm in a few clubs, and will probably join more next year when I can finally fucking get my license. NJ is gay with licenses - you don't get it till your 17, and I just turned 16 in October.

36. Rutgers 45 1 N/R The women’s basketball team’s performance (7) was enough to vault Rutgers to 36. Take that, Don Imus.

Yea, I never understood the whole 4+ gpa system... My high school was a maximum 4.0. We didn't have AP classes, because the administration thought we were "too good" for them. I wish we would have been able to take them for placing out of college classes. This is my high school: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Dalton_School

Not only could you have a 4.3 GPA, but an A+ was anything over 90! So if you had a 91 average in all your classes, you had a 4.3 GPA.

Fortunately, I never went that low, at least for a whole term. I did have the occasional math or chemistry test that went south of 50. But I don't think I ever had a term where i was under like 72 maybe? The system bailed me out, in that that was still just a C+. Math and Science killed me in high school.
