Andrew Miller might eventually end up better being than Willis, but Detroit's looking really good. Ordonez, Cabrera, and Sheffield in the middle of the order is crazy.

It really won't be that difficult for Miller to end up better than Dontrelle, unless Dontrelle becomes quite a bit better. As of now, he had a really good 2005 season, that is completely out of the ordinary from the rest of his career. If both are given 200 innings in 07, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Miller put up comparable numbers to Dontrelle, especially in the NL.
Miguel is a stud. So is Maybin. Really cool trade.

nice deal for the Tigers but the Marlins are getting real good value as usual. Good deal for both.

Marlins suck. First Beckett, now Willis? Idiots.

They got Hanley for Beckett... that worked out well for them.

Marlins suck. First Beckett, now Willis? Idiots. Amazing value for Beckett, and Dontrelle is the least valuable player among Maybin, Miller, and Cabrera.

marlins are pretty impressive with grabbing youth to bad they do not have the market or money that allows them to keep these guys.
Should be interesting to see willis in the AL, see if he gets lit up.

He'll go 6 innings, 1 earned in his first start, people will think he's good, and then he'll put up a 4.5 the rest of the year.

Actually, this blows. He's such an awesome hitter. I bet he's hit at least 3 home runs against the Mets the last few years. When he was a rookie, he hit one 450+ it was unreal.

.856 OPS this past year. He really shouldn't have been pitching.

Kev, it's legit. Maybin is a pretty damn amazing prospect, and Miller has more value than Dontrelle by a lot. The problem with Dontrelle is, the clock is ticking. He no longer was going to be able to net the type of deal that Bedard/Haren etc will get their respective teams, but at the same time, they're not going to be able to afford him eventually. Nice to no longer have to pitch against him though.
