I listened for a while today, Dan. I really like the idea of the show but I have some objective points that will hopefully help you improve. 1. You need to turn off your mic when you play music because you can hear fumbling of papers, breathing, whispering etc. 2. You need to have your mic either closer to your face or at the same volume as your partner. He was much louder than you were. 3. Music volume was > Talking Volume which caused me to adjust my sound back and forth 4. Get a schedule together instead of hopping from 1 topic to the next. You went from baseball to college football to football no real semblance of operations. Perhaps recap in chronological order or talk about what you have the most knowledge about or most passion about first to really hook your listener. In journalism they call this the pyramid style going from most important to least important. This way your listeners can know you talk about X in this half hour and Y in this half hour etc. 5. Cater to your audience, remember you aren't in CT anymore and such a large segment on what the yankees are doing might not appeal(it might too). Maybe spin it to whether the Angels have a chance at landing A-Rod. 6. Better preparation to talk about the above for mentioned topics. You didn't know if Vinny Testaverde had a TD or not and you failed to mention he left the game with an ankle injury being relieved by David Carr. You lose credibility like this and listeners might be turned off. Love the concept of the show though and thought you played a good selection of music which kept me listening. Work on these things and I think your show is a real gem. thanks for the comments dave, as I said I am still learning so this kind of feedback is great. The schedule is pretty simple, I mean I went from Baseball, to football to college football to basketball, thought that good. As not being in CT anymore I understand where you are going, but this show happend to be right after Arod opt out, yanks looking for a manager, bosoxs winning, I talk about all news in the past week or days and try to keep it a good variety. But thanks again, hope you listen more. You did go from baseball to football etc but you need to focus in more and drive a point. Have a voice on where you are going. Go in more depth into a certain area of discussion. Like I made mention with Arod instead of recapping what most know....talk about where he is going next? Why did he opt out? Can he get more money? This is what I mean about preparation.

How long does it run? I had to go to lunch a half hour or so in, my Dad was here. Depending on how long it is, might be cool to have a little Fantasy segment.

I actually really liked the music too. Dan, I'm not kidding, if you really are into this, throw out some topics online to us the night before and we'll (I'll, I'm assuming Aaron too) will give you some ideas you can pawn off as your own, or take our ideas and spin them your own way. That way, you're giving more than just the obvious information. Even though I wasn't a big fan of the other guy, he did mention that Girardi destroyed the Marlins arms, which I knew, but was a good thing to throw in there. Liked that a lot. Overall, really cool for a first listen, looking forward to next Monday. And yeah, I'd love to talk on Sunday night about things that you can use Monday. sounds good, Im open to alot of ideas and stuff. If you email me during the show, i will read your comments and talk about what you said. That stuff can happen to if you are listening. That's so sick, definitely.

I was thinking of doing that when there is nothing to talk about, soon it will be just football and basketball, hockey (though doubt i go deep into it), CFB, CBB, might mix in fantasy aspect.

Yeah, I think a fantasy aspect would be really cool. Are their listeners on campus?

Yeah, I think a fantasy aspect would be really cool. Are their listeners on campus? nah not that much right now. I mean they have spots open in the cafe for instance and another spot just ongoing listening, then you can access it from all the school computers homepages. But right now its the beginning phases, advertising, putting up flyer's and such, so hopefully we get more and more listeners. This is a second year program too, started last year by this kid who was a freshman now a soph.

Is your name really hansel and if it is why do we call you ducky I'm called ducky, because in NBN they said if I joined, I had to call myself ducky, and now I use it as my alias in sims. Hansel isn't my real name. But I use that to disguise my real name. Basically no one knows what my name is. Anyone who figures it out, gets 3 dollars via paypal

pretty sick^^
Yeah well today sucked because we open up like usual and then played our first song, but with these really horrible rules on the site that we use to broadcast you can not play three songs from the same album in like the same hour or two or something like that, and we did without out knowing this bullshit. So We could not broadcast online today, but we still recored it and it will be played later through out the weeks. That sucked.
