With Brown out I don't see much hope for any excitement for Dolphins football for the rest of the year.

With already investing a 2nd rounder in Beck and having issues at other positions, I doubt they will take either. But if they had to, I think Brohm has a slight edge...

They could take Long, put him at LT, and move Carey back to RT. Dorsey looks like a studly 4-3 DT, so that could be an another option.

if the dolphins land a top 5 pick loo for them to trade it for multiple picks

the dolphins wont take a QB... out of the 2 that there are to choose from I would rather have Brohm
I think they both have the potential to be great QBs in the NFL, but Brohm is a sure thing to be at least a good QB in the NFL while I can see Woodson being a bust.

brohm is going to atlanta
woodson is not gonna be good
the QB i like is Ryan
Unless a big name player is out there that is a cant miss i am telling u right now they will trade the pick...this draft will be all defense last year was offense drafting ginn and beck and booker and some oline guys...

the dolphins should trade the pick and get an extra 2nd and 3rd or 4th to help improve the talent on the team

Dolphins probably go with Defense and/or trade down for more picks. I can see Miami maybe trading down to the #6 or #7 and taking either DE Calais Campbell DE Derrick Harvey or DT Frank Okam

But the question is whether anyone will want to give up so much to trade up that high...
Less and less teams are eager to trade incredible value for top pick because GMs are realizing the depth of the draft and drafting well past the 1st round is a cheap and efficient way to build a good football team.

wasnt orlando pace a #1 pick with the Rams
and i deff see a team trading up for mcfadden or brohm i mean the browns traded this years 1st for quinn at 22 so think wat a team like atlanta or carolina would trade up for brohm or woodson. figure the falcons have the #5 or #6 and the dolphins have the #1 or #2 the falcons i can see will trade up for brohm since petrino coached brohm. so figure the dolphins pick and their 4th rounder to the falcons to hall n their 1st and a 3rd. hall isnt getting along with his coaches and the dolphins need a shutdown cb. perfect fit imo.

You had to be a Dolphins fan if you think Atlanta is stupid enough to give up Deangelo Hall lol

i think they draft Dorsey if they end up with the number one pick. If not i think easily rams take him 1st. You need a line that can put pressure on the oppiste teams Qb, thats what leads to a dominat defense. When you can put pressure with just 4 guys that secondary looks alot better than it really is.

we are talking about the deangelo hall who was giving up the most yards per pass attempt on last season right
he is only the most overrated CB in the league... all he has is speed

With the recent trend of QB's consistently slipping in the draft (Leinart, Rodgers, Quinn), mainly due to a lack of need, the Falcons front office will probably assess the situation and recognize that they won't need to trade up to get Brohm. IMO the only other potential bottom 5 team that would draft a QB would be Minnesota, and even then Childress is stubborn to fault with thinking Tavaris Jackson is the answer there.
