You guys have NO IDEA how much this means to Phillies fans...seriously, unless you are a Philly sports fan, you won't realize how much this city/the fans need this.

I remember earlier in the year when you guys were the laughing stock for losing a record amount of games lol. I don't think people want to understand Philly sports fans... they're not okay in the head. Awesome though... Jeremy will cry and that's just awesome.

Some of them are not okay in the head, but most of us are passionate, die-hard fans who have just been let down so many times before.

Good thing im a yankee fan. for now. i really wanted a sox/tigers ALCS but detroit had a meltdown that I just never saw coming and even then I always figured they would turn it around. i was wrong, NY overtook them. hopefully boston and NY meet, pretty much the best thing for baseball.

Agreed, im sure MLB is rooting for that.. especially after the unmarketable disaster that was the World Series last year.

You know MLB is rooting for a Chicago-Boston/New York world series right now, but I'm gonna laugh if they get a Cleveland/Colorado or San Diego or Arizona WS because it'll be a marketing disaster yet again.
I'm not sure who to root for with Colorado or San Diego, because we get the winner. On one hand, San Diego's pitching is awesome and that worries me because if we don't score a lot of runs, we won't win, but I think we could take 3/5 from them for sure. As for Colorado, they worry me a bit more because they are so hot right now & their offense is also sick. So, I'll be rooting for San Diego probably.

between the phillies and rockies ballparks i suggest you make it a best of 5 set of home run derbies instead of baseball games(kidding but it would be an interesting series)... the padres ballpark on the other hand would create quite the contrast. i think if i were philly i'd rather face the rockies honestly.
as for my team, i think a ton of boston's season depends on dice-k here. he was brought here in large part because of his big game success and i believe in him but he is quite the mystery to figure out i must say. the team's problem won't be with the latter part of the rotation, that's for sure. it's really about beckett and matsuzaka.

Funny that Colorado is now an unbelievable team for MLB to have in the WS.
