I want to get either a 360 or a PS3, no chance of getting a Wii.
Which ones better, price non inclusive? Pretty much the only games I'll be playing are Fifa, F1, NBA and GTA. I'm not much of a gamer yet play my current Xbox which I had modded to a 120gig HD with the ability to rip games on it a lot so I need help!
Do all these games come on the 360? The ones I mentioned above? Which would you chose, keeping in mind pricing etc...
At the moment I want a PS3 but its WAY to expensive so I may settle with a 360. In saying that I may save up a little longer and get a PS3.

i own a ps3 and one of my best friends has an xbox and we play all the time...
I have always had a playstation system so I like the system better. Xbox is good but not as good as ps3 imo. The graphics on both are about the same. The ps3 can play blueray and is free online. The biggest advantage a xbox 360 has right now is that all the good games for ps3 keep getting release dates delayed.
none of the games you like to play should be delayed so you should be good in that department

Is F1 available on Xbox? I am never able to find it, and I'm almost certain GTA will be released on it...

What about F1 though? If I can get F1 on xbox I'll probably grab that ASAP. I heard somewhere that only Sony offer it due to licensing etc..

Just discovered that Sony have the rights for F1.
I also want a PS3 for the new Gran Turismo. Hmm, to expensive! Maybe I can put off buying another pair of Ksubi's for a couple of months...

yeah xbox360 is way better IMO. I had the chance to play ps3 and its in the early stages like xbox was when it came out. Its good, but to expensive, and the online system is not as good as xbox360. I would go with 360 if I were you, GTA comes out on xbox and xbox360 now, you can by gta 3 and vice city for regular xbox. And the new GTA is coming out for xbox360. The rest of the games im not sure, you talking about nba 2k? on all systems.

Go Xbox. Especially if you can get Xboxlive played Tom Clancy on that and it was awesome to talk with all your other teammates in competition, its great for sporting games also.
