one of the better drafts, obviously. interesting stuff happened.
i really think chicago got an excellent roll player at worst with noah, but i wonder if hawes would have better fit their roster. still, that will be a great chess piece in playoff series' just as thabo, no doubt about it to me.
i wonder if boston is giving up on gerald green with the acquisition of ray allen. there's no doubt that seattle got a nice deal out of it but ray allen is quite a player. the celtics could definitely win a lot of games with him, pierce and jefferson imo.

I hate seeing Jason go. I know they do it for several reasons though. Jason didnt progress at all this year, which was a disappointment. They need to free up money for guys like Barnes, and eventually Ellis and Biedrins, both guys who really did have more of an impact for the Warriors in the playoffs. Then also the Warriors just need big bodies, Wright does fit the bill there. And of course a guy like Belinelli may be a better fit in the offense because of his ball handling and shooting.
Biedrins-OBryant Harrington-Wright Jackson-Barnes Ellis-Belinelli Baron-Jasikevicius
Not too bad.

I don't like that trade for the celtics at all terrible for the celitcs it'll be nice to win some games, but that team isn't winning a championship; so why go get a 32 year old? just don't get it

great trade for gsw. love wright's game and he's athletic enough to flourish in that system.

i think a lot of people believe boston should be going the opposite direction and trading guys like pierce away instead of giving him help by adding more age. it's valid.
but i can understand it the other way. it's actually quite possible that the celtics traded 2 bench players and jeff green for ray allen, and i'm of the understanding that they didn't have much desire to add yet another rookie to depend on(after they crapped out in the lotto).
anyhow i agree seattle got the better of it. just saying ray allen + paul pierce is damn good.

In other news, the Knicks front court still can't block a shot if there life depended on it. Still, Curry and Zach can score. A lot.

Nichols was a hell of a pick...the kid is a stud scorer he can make an impact. I've seen him play a lot and he is impressive.

I liked us dumping zbo. Cap and Frye, who priitchard was extremely high on 2-3 years ago. I'll take it. Very pleased.

all i have to say is i'm happy we got zack randolph and dan dickau. zack is the hard nosed pf we've been trying to get since oakley left. wilson chandler is a nice young raw talent who could develop into something nice down the line

Could Ellis and Wright get the Warriors KG? Why do you want to trade Ellis/Wright, thats 2 solid young talented players?
