it was quite foolish of him to not pull the ball back out in the first place.

Who meets Harris at the rim though? Hes probably the 3rd or 4th fastest player in the NBA.

Davis and Jackson to a lesser degree are complaining about every call against them and they really arent even that controversial.
Be interesting how this plays out the rest of the series.

no stephen jackson and baron davis are not controversial at all.

Jackson is having a pretty awesome game. Pretty unlikely the Warriors can win without Davis though.
Once again, the Warriors dont make the Mavs look like a 67 win team. Just watching these first 2 games, you wouldnt know what team was "supposed" to be better.

Once baron went out, it was over. I cant wait for Game 3, I really think the Warriors are gonna take it. If they dont win Game 3, I think they could lose in 5. Theyve shown they cant deal with adversity in this game, so if they lose 2 straight, and especially the 1st at home, I think theyre done.

that game was decided before baron was ejected, i really don't see how him being in/out would have changed the outcome.
anyhow the mavs just had better guard-play on both ends, opposite of game 1.

11 down with a quarter to go isnt over IMO. I think it was pretty unlikely that they wouldve come back, but they had almost no chance without Baron.
I think what Barkley said was true though, Baron didnt want to play tonight. he came out, and had some nice drives, but he was heaving some really bad shots. Not sure if it was his knee or what, but he was a completely different player then what hes been for the last 2 months.

well even without baron down 11 isn't over, especially not a don nelson team but i never got the sense that game was ever going to be close again, that's all.
i didn't get to watch the start of inside the nba because my area had like 2 blackouts in 5 minutes so i dunno.
i think the mavericks were really reaching for the ball in passing lanes and on dribble drives and stuff a ton... similar to golden state's usual i guess. that mighta took baron out of it a little. jackson was more persistent than davis when it came to that.
but lastly, i know you love baron but heaving bad shots is nothing new for him and i think was one of mark's lone good points on him. he takes too many outside shots, he's not that great at it... and in the process wastes his inside ability. sometimes baron doesn't play very smart.

Baron is especially important because the Warriors dont have alot of good ball handlers. Jackson is probably their 2nd best decision maker. Ellis turns the ball over alot. Richardson too. Barnes is a better ball handler then Richardson and Ellis most of the time.
Even if the Warriors dont win another game this series has been great for the Warriors. I dont think they expected to make the playoffs, and theyre still a very young team.
