nova, you've signed guys to ridiculously bloated contracts in the offseason, then you beg people to take them back for expirings... you haven't advanced, like aaron said you've been dealing in circles.

When did I beg people take those players? I had no issue keeping Smush or BG, but I preferred to deal them for youth/picks. Same goes with Ariza, I'm perfectly happy to keep him, I still like him a lot & have no issue keeping him.
Nene I overpaid for, and while I obviously would like to deal him for expiring, I hardly see how I'm begging people to take him. It's not as if I send out 29pm's every week bugging someone to take him. Do I regret signing him? Yes, but I move on & go onto trying to make other deals.
W/L wise, your right, I haven't advanced yet, but for the future, I believe this team is in very good shape with my current group of young players + my 1st.

By always listing them as "Easy, Available, Looking to move."

I listed BG & Smush as Available/Looking to move because at that point, I felt it was best to deal them for youth/picks. If you remember, I loved Smush, but it made the most sense to deal him - same goes for BG.
Nene I listed as Easy because well, he is easy to get, and I'm not delusional, I don't expect to get shit for him.
Anyways, your entitled to your opinion. I know that I have to make strides next year, and I don't plan on just sitting on my team this offseason, I definitely plan on making some moves. However, I feel that the Parker deal gives me a LOT more to work with trade-wise this offseason will give me the flexibility to deal players I otherwise wouldn't deal.

a) Nova was given shit to start off with, absolute shit.
b) He made some terrific moves at the beggining. Dumped a lot of contracts, got picks back.
c) Made a mistake by signing Nene and Smush to max contracts.
d) Looked to be getting back on track after the signings.
e) Has traded in circles recently.
Nova was given a really really bad team to start off with. I'd just say he needs to stick to his plan a lot more because at the moment he is swaying from it. And LOL at someone saying to start Outlaw at the 4.

I'll admit I've traded in circles, and the main reason is because I did not have my 1st, so I had to try and win. I traded for Smush because I figured with him I was at the least a 35 win team. I was wrong, and instead of trading the majority of my youth just to win now, I decided to deal off Smush, get my pick back, and make any necessary deals this offseason.
