why don't we use PM's for DC's for the playoffs. I think this gives a great element of surprise and could make lineup changes all that more important. Real life coaches don't know what the other team is going to do.

well... i'll say this because i like the intentions...
i think that the actual starting line-up has to be made public
for backups, scoring options and strategy i love the idea.
i mean in real life you can SEE the other team's line up... and then everything that happens during the game is anyone's guess(all be it an educated one). i just don't like the idea of like... not knowing who is taking the floor for the majority of the game... i don't even care the positions aren't revealed... but the actual starting players should be known.

i dont like the idea frankly. it doesnt allow you to see what your opposing team is gonna do and what they are going to start with. This is where your true skills as a GM come out when you try to outmanuever GMs by weighing strengths and weakenesses. I guess it adds an element of surprise but I dont think you can start trying to make this sim more like a real nba. because it is a computer sim anything can happen, so it really defeats the purpose of making it private what your strategy is. I just dont think itll work. thats my 2 cents anyway.

Ehh I don't know. I mean parts I like but its not that realistic. In real life they don't know everything at tipoff per say but five minutes into the game each team pretty much knows what the other team is trying to do.

I can make it an option for GMs that agree to it. No way I ever make this mandatory though.

Well if its an option it would be dumb no to do it. Of course it would be to your disadvantage if your opponent could see yours and you couldn't see theirs.

No Coach knows if the coach wants to run inside or out that game. The regular season where Dc's are posted should be enough for scouting to know what a team tends to do and tends not to do. If you, Galo, can't figure that out then you are the luckiest son of a bitch, twice. I think this adds so much to a sense of surprise and true strategist and coach you are of your players. If an injury occurs it's always debated who is going to take his place? who is going to take his spot. I also think another idea to even enhance the playoffs again is someone to maybe be in charge of post game interviews for playoffs much like increased national media during playoffs professional sports as every regional team is not privy to national exposure during the regular season on a regular basis.

No coach knows??? When exactly do teams start executing their gameplan? In the final 2 minutes of the last game of the series?
