The already mentioned Pistons and Sixers penalties.
TOR was -31 so they lose their MLE and LLE for 2 years and must forfeit a 1st and a 2nd Rd pick.
WAS was -37 so they lose their MLE and LLE for 2 years and must forfeit a 1st and a 2nd Rd pick.

Ya, the more I think about it the more I think we should probably just have the Hard Cap. Makes things easier for you guys, and me. Maybe Ill reverse these penalties and change the rules.

I don't know about getting rid of other penalties. Not because it would help me now (if you remember in old bbs I was always way over cap)... I think it helps teams rebuild faster with the picks and gives some teams something of value (poorly run teams end up with nothing of value and a pick every year would help a little + give them better chance at signing lower cost FA since teams wouldn't have MLE or LLE)

i don't agree....instead of depending on other teams to help, teams should take responsibility for their own team and try to develop their rosters
the hard cap is perfect, nothing else is needed....and my intentions are for the league, not my team

Yeah the hard cap replaced this. The old BBS did not have a hard cap when penalties were put into place.

Im a rebuilding team but i don't want any picks that i didn't earn. I want to do it on my own and that's the aproach everyone should take.

I like the rules and maybe just have the picks to be forfeited and not redistributed. Teams that are ridiculous in their spending should pay and harsh rules should prevent bad spending which I like. I think a lot of the max deals in past free agency is going to hurt teams in the long run.
