Pistons trade: Artest Thornton Elson Blazers first this year
Bucks trade: Melo JMax Sene
Do this since I have so many free agents, Melo gives me some security next year. JMax is another beast, and might start him. Plus three tremendous outside shooters with beasts inside, reminds me of the Magic team.
Melo is immediately on the block.
Thanks Jordan
**If this puts either of us over the hardcap, please don't put it through. Though we both checked, I'm sure we screwed something up.

Bucks confirm
ive been trying to deal melo for awhile now and no one has really offered a player close to artest or a young guy who looks more then a backup... i hate to add maxiell to this trade but i think he is expendable with varejao and bosh playing how they are
i also think it would have been tough to bring him back... the portland pick is a lock for top 15 i think and that could give us a guy who could develop into a starter down the road and if we can resign artest to a good deal then we should be able to keep this core togethor for awhile
this should make me one of the best defensive and rebounding teams in the league so hopefully it works out

Like this and don't like this for both teams. I think Melo is a very good talent but Jordan obviously felt Melo couldn't get him to the next level. I think Melo > Artest long term however Reilly doesn't need the scoring punch and takes a hit defensively and might have the too much offensive punch(some might say this isn't possible but I'm convinced sometimes too much talent is a bad thing in FBB). I think Maxiell is the steal of the deal because I think he is one of the most underrated bigs in this league.
Aaron assures himself he won't totally be screwed if he loses BD in free agency and Jordan gets away from hard cap danger with the big expiring. Overall pretty good deal for both definitely always fun to shake things up or else things get boring.

Interesting.
I'm not a Melo fan so I like it more for Milwaukee, but getting Maxiell is the X-Factor for sure, curious to see how Detroit plays with their new lineup.
