Greg, you have to think in 2 minds when you trade. Of course you want to make your team better but at the same time, you want to make sure that you can win a title and with NY having the team that he does, you have 0 chance now.
For Kobe, NY gave me the best deal by far, but by giving him KB, I would have given him the strongest team in the league by a country mile.
Anyway, I just did my GM rankings.
1-27: Who cares.
28: Lums
29: Gregg

James if it makes you feel any better, you probably won't contend until you get new players anyway.

Nah, Gregg is an idiot. Seriously. No offence, but this is a move only a bonehead would make. After losing Gay and Durant at the end of the season (one to waivers, the other he couldn't resign) Outlawz probably would have made this bloody deal anyway. You had Outlawz on hot coal, what possesed you to add 2 firsts and an RC? Sheesh, I'm just furious. I don't care about NY anymore, just how stupid you'd have to be. THIS IS THE EXACT REASON WHY THE GOOD TEAMS WILL ONLY EVER BE GOOD AND WHY THE BAD TEAMS WILL ONLY EVER BE BAD. You know man, I would be an idiot if I took any of those lame ass trade offers I've gotten from you. You seem to think you're a damn FBB god or something because you took over a world championship team and got them back to the finals and lost instead of winning. Your cred with me is crap. NY and Detroit have kept their teams on top this whole damn sim period nearly. Those guys and others I respect for their ability. When you fucking do something on your own get back with me snapperhead.

I can contend if I want to, Mark. I would just prefer to rebuild and pick up 2 more top draft choices at the moment.

Always very nice and really good guy to try and trade with. To blast him for not fucking over Outlawz is pretty pathetic(eventhough technically Outlawz couldn't be fucked over)

Show me a trade offer. I’ve never had any interest in any of your players because the whole time you’ve been a GM, your best player has been Samuel Dalembert.
And, it was REALLY my fault that I took over Golden State. I messaged Spence before he appointed me GM and asked for another team however he said he would actually like it if I took over his team.
I then made it my challenge to trade all the core pieces of this team and make it my own, and I did. I took them to 2 BBS finals and lost to Chicago and NY respectively (both times I lost because idiots like you making trades like this).
I don’t care what you say because you are a terrible GM. It’s funny that almost everyone knew that Outlawz would go to an idiot like you to get him out of this whole; and kudo’s to him because he did an excellent job.

Umm, I don’t care. And besides, he would have went over because he only had 10 players. Even 2 minimum signings would have put him over.

I think this says more about Outlawz then Greg.
He was in a position to get screwed pretty badly. Instead, not only does he escape that but he wins the trade that gets him out of it.

Greg, that made no sense.
And Andy, I agree. Outlawz did a hell of a job here.

I will admit if I had known he was in that position I sure woulda traded differently. Not to screw him,but because I would have had the leverage and would have used it, unfortunately I didnt see it so I'm the worse for it. You move on, fuck it.

Random thought...
There really are no Good or Bad Gms (Lumley is just different)... its not like you're born with sim league GMing skills. The only real difference is how much people care about the league/their team/winning. Some people are REALLY into BBS and those are the people that usually have the best teams/win etc. Then there are others that are into it, but dont live it 24/7... and then there are those that are just a part of it as something to do, but they aren't really into it(or they once were, but arent anymore type of thing). Its interesting... when a trade occurs that bothers some people, it's almost always between a 24/7 GM and a half-er... So again... its not really about being Good or Bad Gm... its really about how much effort and time you invest in it. Unfortunately, you'll never have a league where every GM is a 24/7 type(although, if you did... id imagine that trading would be hard to accomplish a lot of the time.. so it probably wouldnt be as great as you might imagine).
