I'm pretty sure the main reason why everyone wanted Lumley back was because of this. He does favors for alot of people and is the easiest to convince when trading.
Yeah he's a great guy... but no one can deny the reason why everyone wanted him back was exactly this.

Its not a horrible deal. If it get veto'ed it would only be because of the team i've compiled and if im getting punished for being a good gm ill just quit.

So he trade his cornerstone player in Brandon Roy. He receives a guy who’s probably either going to stay the same with ratings or go down and a very poor man’s Brandon Roy and a 2011 Miami 1st that could be good or not. This would make sense if this trade would make him a contender but KG at 34, TD at 34, Nash 36, Jefferson 30, and an overrated CJ Miles. I don’t get this.. sure he’s going to have a ton of cap space.. but he traded away all the 1sts I got for him back.
Everyone said what a wonderful job he did. I said wait no so fast, all he has is a 1st round knockout team. I called it. I’m calling it again, terrible move.

kg is still a legit superstar, cj miles can play he just has to get minutes.. that heat pick could be good okafor and livi gone.. plus gets a couple more picks and rc's to work with.. haters lol

Does it make him a better team? Sure. Does it make him anything more than a 1st round knock-out? Absolutely not.

Again trading young superstars for superstars way past their prime.. it's the lumley way.

attempting to justify the deal is ridiculous. lumley deals a young stud in roy for an aging kg, a terrible contract in miles, and picks which don't look promising.
that being said, this trade should go through. outlawz shouldn't be penalized for lumley being such a complete idiot. he went out, made a tremendous deal, and should be rewarded.
great deal outlawz. lumley, i seriously question your head sometimes.

A veto is out of the question. Blame this on the people who wanted Lumley back and if you're going to attack me thinking I'm attacking Lumley out of spite, you're wrong, but Lumley didn't deserve such a quick second chance, in my honest opinion. He would have benefited much more being someone's Asst, like I benefited with being Hernando's.

OMG this is simply horrible. Lums wtf are you thinking? You got nothing but an old (now overpaid) KG and some shitty picks. We finally had the Knicks in trouble and needing to do somthing to fix their problem and this happens. Geesh.

I tried to convince myself this is OK. I mean, KG and TD is really nice, and they're surrounded by some decent talent, but no, the deal is horrendous. Roy is way too good to be dealt, period. Especially for a guy KG's age.
