Celts send Jamal Mashburn, 2010 BOS 2nd, 2011 BOS 1st
Magic send Ben Gordon
Good deal. Gordon's a great scorer, but I'm rebuilding, and I now have massive expirings to go with all my firsts. Plus, as far as the future goes, don't see a need for Ben, with the contract and all.

Grrrr. The East is getting even more fucking ridiculous.
Chicago, New York, Philly, Detroit, Toronto, Milwaukee, Boston, Miami, New Orleans, Indiana, Atlanta all vying for playoff spots.
The East has ZERO rebuilding teams right now...those 11 teams are trying to win, whereas Washington, Cleveland, and NJ are in transition phases.

Celtics Agree.
This should upgrade the offense some, and it gets us younger.
I'm not convinced we're a playoff team at this point, even with Gordon. So I'm keeping my 1st this year as a guard against that. I'm more willing to deal the '11 pick because next season I'll still have Papa/Gordon/Josh/Dwight/Hendrix in the fold, plus whoever we draft, so I wouldn't expect us to be worse in '11 than we'll be this year.

The West is much stronger as well. Going to be a very interesting season. I'm winning it all.

Yeah, the league as a whole is much much stronger, however, NY & Detroit are still heads & shoulders above the rest IMO, with Minny & LA just being a tier below them.

I think Minni and LA are both better than the Spurs.

Minnesota's the best team in BBS, next to NY.

I don't think so. Their 1-2-3 are as good as anyone in the league, but their frontcourt is a step down from some of the other elite teams(NY, Detroit, & LA)

I don't think so. Their 1-2-3 are as good as anyone in the league, but their frontcourt is a step down from some of the other elite teams(NY, Detroit, & LA) Amare, Thabeet Emeka, Bynum Jefferson, Chandler Yao, KG I'd rank Minnesota second best. Their shotblocking/rebounding's the best, which is what matters when you have Diaz/Manu/Wade/Chauncey
