Nets used to win 50+ every year. Just saying. New Era Mark, losing is the standard. ;D

You guys act like Ridnour is a star and Francis actually produces on par with his ratings.

Ridnour could be solid. Adding him in the deal could backfire.

You guys act like Ridnour is a star and Francis actually produces on par with his ratings. Francis has avg 20ppg and 10apg in a season. He's never been the main scoring option and he's rarely gotten a chance to play SG on a consistant basis, which is a position I think he would thrive in. You've been in the league a week and when you've previously been in the league you've never done a good job which would explain your short stints. Mccants if lucky would be half the player that francis is. Mccants was the 18th pick in the draft and his scouted potential is an A but that doesn't mean his actual potential is an A. In all actuality I don't know if I'd trade Ridnour + for Mccants. I think Mccants projects as a nice backup 1/2 and if you took the time to read the draft notes you'd say the same too. Rommie, you are the interim GM and I don't think Skillz would appreciate you tearing down his team.

Doesn't Spence have to approve Net deals before they are done?

I really dont like commenting on trades as known, particularly my own. But damn the dogpiling is killing me. Krup, Spencer must have approved this trade as Rommie said he had to get Spencers ok before doing it. Francis has been by and large an underachiever and at this point overpaid. Hell, NVE's stats are damn near the same as Francis and his contract is up in 2 yrs. After this season. Ridnour who knows. Too early to tell yet on him.
But you are always throwing out how much Spencer likes guys in deals and I can tell you I know for a fact Spencer loves Mccants. He was thrilled we got him in earlier deal. He may not be happy with me moving him. It takes time for deals to pan out.
Give the guy a break.

I never okd this deal from the NJ perspective. I lost my internet connection, so I wasnt really available to Rommie, but still it was basically posted without me being ok with it.
I dont like Francis at all. Hes the most overrated player in the league.
I love McCants. I think hell be an extremely good SG.
Ridnour is solid, but I think he pretty much peaked.
I dont think Im gonna let this deal go through, mostly because Rommie was supposed to get deals okd by me.

Ill need to wait till I get home to make a definate decision, but Im thinking I wont allow this.
Rommie is in a tough spot, since it really isnt his team. Also, Skillz has been gone, not sure what his status is, but he hasnt done a good job honestly. His deals have gon down hill since his first 2 deals.
I may need to e evealuate his spot, specially with Mark back.
