Portland Trades Luol Deng
Los Angeles Trades Emeka Okafor 3rd best pick in 2006 Draft (If I have 2, 5, 7, 10 he gets #7)... if the pick is outside of the top 10, he gets 2009 Atlanta as well.

Wow. Kinda weird. If the pick is outside the top 10, he gets that pick plus the ATL 09, or just the 09?

Like it for Dan cause big men are always highly valued but Hernando should be fine with Amare at C and Deng is certainly no slouch...overall like it for Blazers though right now

I love it. I got bobby simmons to fill in luol spot, which is nice. I think this gives me a better chance for the playoffs and down the road. picks may turn out better than expected as well.

Deng is super, but the Blazers need some more depth. This deal gives them 2 solid player for 1 very good player. Also the Blazers have 2 top options still in JRich and Marbs so theyre good.
Lakers put Diaw at SG? Huge wings for them now.

dan is on okafor's nuts. you can't have okafor in 2 leagues, it's against fbb regulations.

Deron Williams - Boris Diaw - Luol Deng - Amare Stoudemire - Center via Draft or Trade or FA?
or Trade Diaw for a big man and then draft SG?

I'm not a big Okafor fan. I realise he is young, however in over 30mpg, Emeka is only averaging 1.2bpg. He shoots at an 'okay' % and most of his B inside rating comes from his strength. 20, 8 and 3 is fairly good considering Deng is currently sharing the rock with Marbs and J-Rich.
In saying that, I'm not sure who I like it for. Amare/Emeka looked nice in LA...

Like it for the Lakers. If Okafor had a different name he would not have the same value. He hasnt been the kind of beast defensively that i expected him to be. Not a bad deal for the Blazers but gotta love it for the team who gets the best talent.
