Suns send:
Larry Hughes Michael Ruffin VET F/A Suns '011 1st
Knicks send:
Ben Wallace
I agree. I get a bit older here but Hughes wasn't playing great for me and my team is struggling so this should help alot.

I agree.
Sucks to give Wallace up once again and this might hurt me big time but i felt i had to do it. Wallace has a really bad contract and didn't want to be stuck with his contract in a couple years facing hard cap. I like larry hughes. Hes a good defender and is a solid 3rd option. I think Diop can step in and play well so we'll c. Ruffin is a solid backup with B+B+ defense/rebounding rating and an extra 1st never hurts.

Leaves a big gap in both teams lineups.
Wallace has a horrendous contract and will be on a staggering $29,593,121 by the time he is what, 37? On the other hand, dealing him is a massive blow to NY's title hopes as I feel they are better with Yao/Wallace than with Parker/Hughes.
PS. Ruffins a nice little kicker in this trade, I like it for NY however dislike it for their direction this season.

Maggette has decent ratings but his to prone, low percentages and just doesnt play D. I dont like him at all.

somehow i doubt ben wallace will be around at 36 and 37. big contract still but i think it's being overblown.

he does occupy about 30% of a teams salary cap but still he is a beast and i'm happy this trade was made

Yeah, probably not but just wanted to have that flexibility with my salary and get some value for him before he loses value. Really hated doing this deal though. But dont sleep on Diop hes good defensively.
