The only 3 players anyone likes on our team are LBJ, Livi, & Smith...and to a lesser extent, Delonte. Smith's not moving, no one will give a very good PF for a PG...so I mean, I did what I thought was best for this team, and I stand by that, even if no one else agrees with me. Did you inquire about Bradley in Philly? The Wiz have an arsenal of big men maybe you could have pried one of them Feick on Dallas has been shopped Kenny Thomas on Hou Spurs can't play all those big men...I'm sure Gooden could have been parted with Mcdyess or Othella Harrington? LAC newly acquired ZO Jerome Williams? Also Matt Geiger on Free Agents....You have room for 3 Vet Fa's Not saying all these guys are very good but some are and some could come cheaper than others. All would be a step in the right direction....

Oh yeah, getting more marginal starters is the way to go. I think we have enough of those in Nazr & Brezec.

you really should get better familiar with the league I've looked at Curry and his past stats and his development. He's not bad, but he's signed to a MASSIVE deal, he has done absolutely nothing in this league and he cannot score to save his life... AK scores more, is a better defender, has a better contract, and is not much older. I would take AK any day of the week.

I'm not saying he won't be good, but I'd rather go for the sure thing who is only 2 years older. Even if Curry gets to B inside, I would prefer AK.

Also, I'm not saying you have to like AK, and I'm not saying that you have to agree with what I'm saying, I'm just saying why I prefer AK.
We disagree about something...it's not a big deal, don't turn it into one.

Im gonna put this deal through.
Ive considered many scenarios here, the best of which IMO was vetoing the trade, moving Nova to a different team and making myself the GM with Ducky my Assistant.
In the end Ive decided that Ducky should get a chance to do what he wants with his team. Regardless of whether he makes the playoffs this year, or wins 40, or doesnt, hell see trading Bron was a mistake eventually.
Nova, just because this was the best offer available, doesnt mean you have to take the deal. Im sure youve been in lots of FBB leagues, but as someone who makes draft files, and watches guys evolve, 20 is pretty young to give up on someone. If he was 24 maybe Id worry, but hes only been in the league 3 years.
I sincerely hope you guys can win 40 this year, because itd suck for another GM to get a LeBron-less Nuggs team.

I read this trade and a few pages of it at 6:45am this morning before I left for work, however thought I'd check the thread and comment on it now at 9am whilst I'm actually awake...
...and talk about an overeaction! Wow!
This deal isn't even that bad for the Nuggets! (albeit, I definetly like the trade for Detroit more). Has anyone seen LeBron's ratings? Did anyone witness LeBron's last TC? Does anyone realise he has already undergone 2 Reward Camps? On the flip side, did anybody see Grangers TC? Also, the Nuggs get Sacramento's pick which is a sure fire lottery slection.
AK isn't the greatest player, infact he is most definetly an underachiever, yet he isn't bad. I would not have done this trade if I were Ducky, but it isn't veto worthy.
Ducky, why would you do this trade? You finally had some sort of direction with Livi, Smith and LeBron, now you have just taken a massive step backwards. Wait another year, you would have either made the playoffs and been praised or been able to select a big guy to add to your lineup from the lottery.
But seriously, LeBrons averaging 23ppg on a team with NO scorers. He isn't that good, although he is young. But yeah, big over reaction to this deal. The Nuggs are in termoil though.

Nuggets=Team turmoil.
But I do like the fact that Ducky is feeling pressure. Not the fact that its Ducky, but it does show that if you wanna be here in BBS you have to produce results. It doesnt get more realistic then that.
