So, as of right now, your team now consists of BD/Kobe/T-Mac/Pollard. You don't even have a starting lineup on roster. Interesting.

the warriors can become quite unstoppable if the front court ever gets figured out.
but i gotta give it to hernando. got a ton out of this and the timing of this trade being posted is 100% in his favor.

yup... finally traded kobe, didnt think it would ever happen, hopefully its not a preview of whats about to happen in real life with kobe/lakers.
really wanted baron and emeka, but settled for this. the trio of kobe/baron/tmac is gonna be hard to stop, whether or not gst has a big man or not.

who does gst trade to get more balance from his backcourt to front court? 3 1 Mil FA's. James could sign an ok player for the MLE (just to make 100% sure someone signs) and use that 4.5 as trade bait as well.

I am the strongest believer you will find in the importance of depth and role players. I really believe 3 superstars with nothing around them equals a 500 team. With this said if James can sign Mohammed and some defensive orientated min's this isn't that bad. I dont know if i would of given up two former top 3 picks and two possible lotto picks for Kobe though

Thats what I was thinking, Andy. Yes, I overpaid and I knew I'd have to for a player of Kobes quality, but I dont think theres another scorer as lethal as him in the league. I figure if I get 1 decent big man in FA via my MLE bids and maneuver 1 mil FA's for decent backups to teams that are tanking, I have a chance. If not, I will probably end up dealing T-Mac. I doubt it though, I like this trio to much.

At least it would leave him a reason to move Pollard's bigger deal.

I mean last year I had Richardson, Brandon and Iverson and of course I understand that is nowhere near Kobe B Diddy and McGrady but with very high offensive ratings at B+ A- scoring Richardson rotted away as the 3rd option, when I got the role player of Jefferson I had alot more success.

that happened with my teams since the start of the new bbs league
i won the championship with shaq and a supporting cast in year one. after that, i loaded up with a superstar at every position and had trouble winning
the ideal situation, at least in my opinion, is two superstars surrounded by a number of players who play their roles

Well, I actually planned on this team really competing NEXT year. This would give me enough time to really plan out how to grab some serviceable backups and another decent starter.
I looked at the best teams in this league. Chicago, Detroit, Indiana and Toronto. All have 2 or more absolute superstars. I figured that to win or compete, I'd need 2 or now, 3 superstars to win. All of those teams though have great depth which is what I plan to aquire utilising expirings and picks over the next 2 years.
Ramble, ramble, ramble....
