He needed a wing. So he dealt one pretty good wing, for 2 slightly less talented wings. He may actually sim better now. He may not. But I dont see why everyone has their panties in a bunch.

You always come to DJ's aid and you can't tell me Galo, who's team is going no where this season couldn't have waited and got a player of Bell/Jackson's calibur with their MLE this off season. This move is bad for their franchise period. He lost a very good starter for 2 very good bench players who will now be starters for him.

I just think people are quick to jump on people for making trades when in fact this one doesnt look that bad. I like Jackson. I signed him to that contract, and he played well for me. When he played with me he had awesome %s and was a solid 3rd option. Bell is also a very solid player. Shard is better then both, but when you have Quinton Ross at a wing spot, I don think trading 1 starter for 2 is a bad deal.

These trades are what keep teams like the Clippers mediocre. You can't build around Jax and Bell but you can build around Lewis. We'll see

Also Jackson could be a solid 3rd option sure but thats on a team with a great 1/2 options and solid defenders in the other 2 positions. The Clippers lack #1 and #2 option.

They lacked a #1 option before the trade too. He didnt deal a stud, he dealt a solid player. This deal is better for the Raps in that they got the best player. But I think the Clippers could sim better because of this deal.

It's not that big of a deal and I think people make a bigger deal out of my posts than I really am. However these trades are what improves teams like DJ's, Reilly's, and mine. If GM's would learn to stick to their direction and show some patience they can build a winner. When you give the best player who is 25 yrs old a career 20ppg scorer who has shown improvement for 2 guards who have been career backups and sorry Spence that contract for Jax sucks!
He could have added Bonzi Wells, Eddie Jones, Brent Barry, or Shane Battier with an MLE in the offseason...

But I think the Clippers could sim better because of this deal. exactly. how the hell are you going to build around Rashard Fuckin Lewis. Even on the real life Sonics, they dont build the team around him.

He could still add Bonzi, Eddie etc. with the MLE... then he may suddenly have some depth.
