Interesting deal. Grizz lose the best player, but Hinrich is very good, and might fit in with Allen and hayes better, being an outside shooter. Dice gives them a much needed interior scorer, and hes only 30. Now the Grizz can deal Murphy and Pietrus for a C maybe?
More high end talent for the Knicks, still need some wings though.

Dice is having a great year... 17ppg on 52% from the floor. I think he'd be more effective at PF his natural position

he's never been a good shotblocker... avg at best... looks like sf suits him just fine.

he's never been a good shotblocker... avg at best... looks like sf suits him just fine. do you have to be a shot blocker to be a pf? I don't think his midrange game suits him for sf

wow interesting deal for both...I wonder if NY gets a lotto pick will he better than Dice...I think NY gets the advantage since Parker > Hinrich and the pick might be better than Dice...

this is his first season at A Boozer Gasol Randolph Wright Wilcox Krstic Juwan Howard Kenyon Martin Haslem Trent Fortson Gooden Okur Kurt Thomas Kemp Rose Webber Feick Are all PF's that aren't great shot blockers should they all play SF? Also 1.5bpg for his career isn't shabby

Plus alot of the players on that list arent more than backups/average starters... so, I guess I could say, their lack of shot blocking limits them to mediocrity...

That's one reason why a majority of Pf/C's are mediocre.

although memphis gets good compensation i think this is an excellent deal for the knicks. tony parker is one of the best players in the league, period,(thats a comma but cool) and with he and yao, that's one heck of a foundation for that franchise, good stuff.
