Lumley why would you do this? The Rockets are only a half game out and that pick will not that be that great becase this draft will not have a player of rip's ability wherever they land. plus dermarr isnt that special at all. unbelieveable.

not the greatest trade but not horrible cuz FA is strange. I basically traded Terry to get out of a similar FA-avoiding situation.

Rip shoots great percentages but he's yet to put up numbers. I guess lumley is hoping somehow the rocket pick moves up. Rip is probably worth more than what lumley got but I wouldn't want to max rip so dealing him wasn't a bad idea. Should've of gotten better value though.

Like if he asks to resign with the kings I could decline or accept the deal since I will have cap space to take the contract and if he dosent wanna resign or I decline I get his bird rights, which I wont really need

Youd have to re do the trade. Its pretty much like a guy failing a physical, or the ;eague not getting the paperwork, this deal is dead. If you guys wanna re work it later thats up to you. Sorry.
On the bright side, check Day 100 vs the Warriors. It may make you happy.

Thus deal was ment to be done for after the season, I was taking a chance that the Rockets pick would stay late lotto. Rip hasnt shown flashes fo anything and from everyone I talked to he isnt valued much at all and Im not resigning him to max. Plus even if Rockets are picking at 14 or so there is alot of similar rated younger and cheaper shooters who should give me around Rips output.

Lumley doesn't think Rip has any value around the league but it is going to take the max to keep him... interesting
He also thinks people at pick 14 will be better then Rip... even more interesting
