Nets Trade:
Amare Stoudamire Adonal Foyle
Lakers Trade:
Eddy Curry Zach Randolph Jason Richardson Miami 2003 1st rounder L.A 2005 1st rounder 1st round pick by 2008 1 upgrade
I agree. I'm sure this will draw a ton of controversy. I'm ready for it, so bring it on. Lakers was the other frontrunner for TD, but was offering less for TD then he was for amare, so i makeout pretty well here. I wouldn't really call this a rebuild. Of course we're going young, and will suffer growing pains but i think with the existing team we'll be able to compete in 2-3 years. Curry is just 19 and has an inch to grow. I think he'll be a beast when he reaches his potential. Randolph is also a nice talent, with great rebounding already. I can see him being a A- C C- B A guy in his prime. J-Rich is a nice scorer, and i get some 1sts.
I believe in depth, and i get 3 future studs in my opinion here. Taking a huge risk here, but i wanted to put my stamp on the team.
Basically, i traded # 2 for # 6, # 8, # 10, and some future 1sts.
Nice dealing, Lakers...best of luck

Love the trade for both sides... Obviously I get the best guy here, but I give up a ton of young talent, a trio i think that could have gotten me most players in BBS. I like what skillz is doing with his team, especially since he has Trent and Fortson he can still deal for youth.
Nash-Kobe-Diaw-Amare-Magloire should be pretty solid for the next 5 years.

this is a great deal for the lakers getting another franchise guy, i think the nets did they good job getting depth while also securing some picks for the future. might be even for both.

Curry and Randolph should be a good duo for years to come...both in the eating and balling categories

good deal for both teams. although i think nets should have held onto amare, i think he's a player you can build your team around.
