I think people are making it way to complicated. I think it should be everyone knows or noone knows as well. How fair would it be to tell a team, after TC they figure out who it is (its not that hard) and then try to rip someone off because they know they busted and the other poor sap doesn't.

There has been multiple times in many leagues where players boom or dont do shit in TC and the next seasons they do the exact opposite so thats why I'm just looking for the plausible short-term solution.

Well I got an Idea... So you randomly select 1 player to gain 25 potential and 1 player to lose 25 potential. Then you PM the team, which has the player who gained/losed 25 potential and you tell them "Someone on your team has gained/losed 25 potential." But you don't tell them who it is... I thought this was deliciously clever. That way the GM doesn't know if its some scrub or their all-star player. eh? Brilliant!

I like Duckys idea, but Im still not sure I would tell anyone anything if I couldnt let anyone know. More and more it wont be implemented this year, so well have plenty of time to iron it out.

for me, Ducky's idea makes sense... coaches do observe their player's potential, so the team GM should know about this boom or bust...IMO...

I like the original idea Spencer, what if the same player is picked again. Would there pot go back to the same and the sim is very random so a player who got dropped could go back up.

I'm fine with the idea, but I don't think that the results should be kept from everyone.
