With the inflated ratings of todays BBS, I don't think that any of the teams between 98-04 would be dominant today.

08 Knicks or 05 Bulls
i think those 2 teams were a lot tougher then anyone else
last 2 sonic teams were close though

Greatest team as in best team? I think best team was 08 Knicks, but greatest championship team is the Magic because of how improbable it was.

05 Bulls, 08 Knicks, or 10 Sonics.
I'll say the 05 Bulls.

I voted for the Magic BTW. The question isn't which was the best team, it's which is the greatest championship team. The Magic year gave hope to everyone, paved the way for blocked shots as a hot commodity, and started The Champ stuff.

Doesn't matter how much hope they gave, it's asking for the best championship team. That win was a massive stroke of luck.

It didn't say which was the best team, best roster. It said greatest BBS championship team of all time. There is a difference in that wording.

08 Knicks I agree with Mark to an extent. The magic were the Cinderella Man version of BBS. Definitely gave the little people hope. But blocked shots have always been a hot commodity. With the good gm's at least.

I agree, but after the Magic won, blocked shots was the THING. Everyone wanted blocked shots, everyone. It was amazing. Best team was 08 Knicks, greatest championship team was the Magic.

I think I take the 08 Knicks down. Remember Camby shutdown Yao in the finals. I think Brand and KG go at it. Dirk just owns Durant who wasn't fully blossomed yet. Joe Johnson and Manu over Battier and Tony Parker.
Sheed was a beast off the bench as well as Luke Walton. Crawford didn't miss he was my Steve Kerr.
Knicks had a great bench too with Billups, Gay, Foye but he didn't really utilize them all because he was too deep. He had no front court backups noteworthy.
Also all of my starters were A defense except Brand who was defensive player of the year. Its a dream matchup and both teams were outstanding but given a 7 game series I think I prevail.

I think blocked shots were big since DJ won his championships not when Aaron did. Or actually date that back to when Spence won with the Warriors

I think the real match up should be the 05 bulls vs the 10 sonics, really sick teams, both worthy. 05 bulls were nasty.

i think my team gets undervalued a bit bc of the fact we only won 1 but I credit the league for that. Hardcap was basically put in place to shut me down too. I could have won the year before and the year after but the Raps and Knicks were damn good teams too. The year after I put blame on myself as I didn't do anything to improve with an aging camby and just really cruised controlled it all year while the Knicks built up the anti-Bulls team. I really couldn't do much due to the hardcap which really forced my hand. I had to lose Sheed, Walton, and stack my bench with 2nd round picks.

I think if you could've been less stagnant with your team. Your team should have won more than 1 ring. Team was pretty good though. The playoff re-creation would be cool if spence could somehow manage that with everyone not just Bulls/Knicks

yea i totally agree with you outlawz but with the contracts I had it was tough to improve. You weren't finding a better defender or 3rd option than Joe Johnson at the time nor was I getting as good of a defender/rebounder than camby. I had no more contracts to give and I did my best when I got Chandler who I overpaid for big time but thats what I had to do at that point
