The game generates a strong class most of the time which makes rebuilding even more fun.
First pick should be a stud. Keeney is well rated already, with huge talents. A pretty poor defender, but he could have a 6 or 7 in hits, and 8-10s in homers and walks. means he should be a big time offensive SS.
Since alot of you are newer to OOTP its important that you measure not only talents, but real ratings an age. They should all come into play when selecting a player.

I also like that were getting this started now. It doubles the activity now, while it also lessens the wait time later. i feel like the league never fully recovered from the draft lull in the first year.

just wondering, any chance that in upcoming years we will have some real prospects?

and i certainly considered it, but keeneys a garaunteed all star, and with good development could be more, and my need to take bpa is why i went with keeney

I wasn't impressed at all with the hitters remaining... I thought Blade was BPA.

ya ya ya but it's true, i'm too stupid to figure it out, or understand the instructions on how to do it. kinda sucks.
on the plus side, i'm almost sure that real players won't pan out "as expected" and using fictional players is really not bad at all.

It would be nice to use real players, but the whole story behind it is eventually we'll pass MLB and have to use fake players anyway, so in reality it's not that big of a deal.

I like the MR I got(won't even bother tryna spell it tho). I don't love him though. This draft is noticably weaker than before and I also feel like GMs have wised up and favored pitching a little... which may or may not be the right thing but it's not good for my team since I have a low pick.

We could do something where we can edit the players weve drafted to similar players that came out that year? Itd be an idea to boost activity during the year. Might be fun.

Yeah i think the Hitting talent this year was very small with not alot fo great hitting prospects. Shile pitching, there were alot more players to pick from

You mean into the real players? It'd be great but I don't know of a way to make it fair? Unless you're just talking about names.

Maybe 1st pitcher selected in BBSBL will = first picher selected in the MLB. IDK, just an idea.

I wouldn't be opposed to it. What does everyone else think? And does anybody have the list to the 2004 real life draft?
