In my experience with this league file, this draft is extremely good. 3.5 star bats at the end of Round 1 is rare usually.
Duce, do you plan on just using default computer generated drafts after the first draft?

I want to make it real for as long as possible, I was talking to the yanks gm about it and he told me how to edit a little i think? but i'm way lost on it(surprise...). If I can't figure it out, which I should be able to eventually, then fictional players is the other way to go obviously.

I dont mind the fictional players for baseball. I think the default OOTP game is very good, and gives so much info that you dont need real names to peak your interest.

I wouldn't mind it at all, I've always liked fictional players. The game will make those who don't care for them a little more open to it though, like you said, which is cool.
Player profiles would pretty much be unnecessary I'm guessing, if people want em though then cool.

You really dont have more info then anyone else, so player profiles are pointless.

Here's to hoping that I can get something decent out of my 25th pick, since it's really all I've got

i have decided i'm not going to edit the rookies, some things are going to be different from real life so please don't pick based only on name-prestige, go by the talent ratings.
bluedevils, who is on vacation, has been PMd and when he gets back the draft may begin.

Damn we suck and we have the 26th pick, although it seems like i might be able to get a solid 3.5 star prospect

i think you got the best player in the draft by far. i feared that maybe you would have wanted a pitcher so i held it up as long as i felt i could. but other than that, you got a hell of a prospect.

You were going to take someone other than Delmon? He looks amazing.

Convenient pick for us.
3B is a weak spot for us - and with no decent 3B spect in the minors...
Was a tough decision between M.Moses & I.Stewart...
Wanted to try and trade down a few spots - but no one was around and I didn't want the auto pick...
ah well.

i like my jared hughes pick. i was considering sinsi, and two other guys as well. but ultimately i really want to build with pitching and hughes was the best one there in my eyes.

I love my draft. I think Miller was the best pitching prospect in the draft, and I'm extremely short on pitching prospects. I added Chad Cordero as my additional 2nd round pick (which I got in the Leiter deal - I would have dealt Leiter for a 21 year old Chad Cordero, so that worked out). And Pomeranz looks like he could be damn good. I added two HS pitchers with brilliant K's. I love it.
