Congratulations to the winners.
My club played hard, but we just ran into a buzzsaw.
We will take this experience and learn from it. Already looking forward to 2005!

wow what a series. 3-1 vs Yankees. We killed them the first game. First Games: 16-6 we had 5 hrs. Guzman had 4 hits. Luis had 3 hits 4 rbis. DaVanon had 3 hits and 3 rbis. Arod had a home run
Game 2: Roy smith had a bad outing. lost 6-3, cuddyer had a hr.Guzman got hurt, out 1-2 weeks.
game 3: won in extra innings. Johnson pitched great, 8 ks. Cuddyer 3 hits 2 rbis 1 walk. DaVanon had a good game.
game 4: harang good game, 7 innings 7 ks. won in extra innings. arod 3 hits 3 rbis, a home run.
Big play from salmon backing up guzman hit a triple to score a run in the 9th to tie the game, hit a double in the 12th to start us off and win it.
Nice year yanks. Onto to Haberman and the Twins, should be fun!! woohooo

since half the teams remaining don't have OOTP, and Spencer is likely a little busy with off-season, you guys can send your changes to me if you feel that is best.

As I figured, my pitching did me in. After trading away Journell, Lima goes down for the year and probably my best SP this year in Eaton is lost for his career.
I know what needs taken care of this offseason, and it will be taken care of...no matter what the cost.

Great playoffs for us. I love the way the Dbacks performed during the first round. I love it.

So pumped. Adjusted my rotation for the showdown vs. Dan. I'm confident because we're playing really well, but he has a ridiculous offense. We'll see whose pitching shows up.

I'm going to get into this league after this season. Dan vs. Aaron? That's sick.

Great sim DB...nice extra inning wins---aside from you thumping me in the first game, it was actually a VERY tight series, which is always exciting---you certainly hit my flaw, which I was worried about this past season after addressing my backup roles and starting rotation in the off-season.
This should lead to another productive off-season for the Yanks...looking to trade Pettitte, Contreras, Matsui, Giambi, and a couple players for a top-10 reliever or two and a top-5 starter ideally.
I'll be active as hell this off-season, come and IM me!
And once again, great job DB...good luck---two upsets in the AL, this will be HOTT!

Wow, I'm impressed with PITT's win over STL. STL had a dominant team all year long, but PITT is really coming on strong. He has a better team than many realize, and this should be a tough series.
Also very happy to get past Washington in round 1. Anytime you have to go up against a baseball mind as good as Bob's, you know it's gonna be a barn-burner no matter which team had the better regular season.
It didn't look good after getting 1-hit by Armas and Co in game 1 to lose by a score of 1-0, but we came back in game 2 to take home a squeaker with a 5-4 win. Our offense really woke up on the road in games 3 and 4, where we were lucky to get past McClung, who has been lights out for WAS, in game 4. Also lucky to get to Burnett early in game 3 and force the bullpen to go the rest of the way.
Congrats to everyone on a great season.
I only played PITT 4 times this year, but I went 1-3 against him. This looks like a bad matchup.

One question...why did my financial report not change? I had 2 home games with crowds around 40,000, and I didn't make $1 of income? My total income is exactly the same after round 1 of the playoffs as it was before round 1 of the playoffs.

There has been a glitch on the playoff money for the past few seasons in the 2 leagues I've been in...not sure what the problem is but OOTP
