We finished in last place with only one win in our last sim. Hate the way we finished our season, players lossing certain abilities and not playing to theri potential. Yeah umm nice.

decent end to a season at 71-91...we have alot of work to do and still have some salary to shed next season but I like the direction we are heading.

5-1. 3-0 vs mariners 2/3 vs Oakland! sick
We finished with 94 wins 68 losses.
Harang pitched a two hit shut out vs the mariners. Jason Johnson did the same thing in the next game, a two pitch shut out.
Morris had a pretty solid sim. Arod had a nice sim, a couple hrs, cuddyer hit one out. Kennedy and Singleton had a big sims, they preformed really well all year. Harvey hit one out. Guzman raised his avg up to 294, he did really well this year.
Arod 38 hrs 318 ba, 121 rbis 20 stolen bases Cuddyer .303 33 107 2 .925 beast.
Pitching was a lot better this year, Roy Smith was nasty. Something we can still improve on, when our young studs come up, things will be looking good for us. Morris and Harang had good seasons as well, harang had 180 Ks, he did well.
Im pumped to see what we can do in the playoffs, we face the Yankees in the first round. I think we can beat them.
Luis Gonzalez collects 2000th hit against Oakland LOS ANGELES (A) - Luis Gonzalez got a standing ovation from 36894 fans in Los Angeles (A), who witnessed his 2000th career hit. His hit in the 4th inning was a single off Tim Hudson. His best year so far was 2001 where he hit .325 with 57 homeruns and 142 RBI. 'This day is special, I'll probably remember it my whole life. Thank god I'm blessed with the talent to play this game.' yeee boy

1-5... not how i wanted to end the season but tagg bozied looked good in his first time and khalil greene got better talent wise... he is looking like he is going to be a tough hitter for the next decade
i think next year we make a legit run at the playoffs... we improved by about 13 games this year... i think we can do that again for next year

Very proud of my kids.
Regardless of how we do in the postseason, getting that little bit of extra revenue and letting the city of Washington DC taste playoff baseball is enough for me. We have some big things in store for this franchise.
This is just the tip of the iceberg.

Tough break for Oakland, as he loses Barry Zito right before the playoffs.

Damn... we had a real chance at finishing about .500. 81-81 is pretty solid though. Hopefully our fan interest goes up so we can generate more revenue next year.

Finished the season 8-2 very impressive, I'm proud of the squad and next year the Astros should be ready to contend.

i'm guessing he's done with sims and i haven't talked to him in a while. he's been a friend of mine online since like 8 years ago, so i just sorta let it slide that he's virtually gone but mike is probly gonna have to kick him out when he takes over.

Happy with the season 89 wins, but disappointed with no playoff berth. Pierre brought home the stolen base crown while Chipper won the batting title. If I can get some pitching together for next season and have a healthy team, I like my chances to compete again with an offense that did wonders in only a half season together.

Great season for my team and even though we didn't make the playoffs we proved a lot this year. Next season with Sizemore, Phillips and maybe a couple of free agents hopefully we can win the division.
Sizemore had a great player development during the last sim and is now Brilliant in home runs. Sabathia gained back some of his lost ratings, Valdes improved as well which was suprising, and Glaus improved his ratings in homeruns.
