Lost Winn, who was in the midst of a monster season, for 5 weeks. Ouch.
Atlanta is playing good baseball. How in the world can there be a rain delay every single game of my series with the Mets? I swear OOTP is ridiculous for having rain delays all the time. Then, to top it off, I get swept by the worst team in baseball.
Ugh.
Ugly sim, for sure.

3-4. Eh i dont know what else to do to the team. I like the pieces we have in place both picthing and hitting, i guess its only about guys develpping and putting up some numbers. I like our rotaion, young and very soilid, same with our hitting. Idk, this sason is not going veyr well right now but gotta stcik with these guys and see what they can do

I can only hope that the loss of those two players slows you down enough for me to keep pace. The Wild Card appears to be coming out of the Central this year. It's all good, though. My realistic expectations for this season were to just be competitive. A playoff appearance is a bonus. I am trying to rebuild on the fly and still win ballgames. All with a payroll under $50 million and a rotation full of unproven, young arms. It ain't easy.

I was on pace to have 8 guys with 90+ RBI. But Drew is out now.

4-3. With a weak division i think i will be able to make a run at this, hopefully the team will stay healthy so we will see now that there is no one on the DL.

5-2 This sim. Extend the lead just a little bit.
Rolen POTW to follow Dye...gotta love the cash flowing into STL for them!
Pitching starting to show up. Carpenter and Crudale both with a couple of decent starts...that's gotta keep up for us to improve on last year.

4-2... back to back 2-1 games to dodgers with peavy and perez pitching then won next 4 with some great SP
Luis Ugueto got called up and did great even though he is still a bit raw... i needed a utility player and he has amazing defense

5-2. This was MUCH better. I think adding Kingsale to the team was a huge deal. His hitting is a bonus but his defense is very crucial for me. The pitching was much better as a result, that plus I feel I played things a lot more conservatively.
The hitting is improved, I can't complain. Moving Kapler to the 2-slot really helped matters.

3-4. 1/2 from TB 1/3 from NY 1/2 from TB Beat NY in our first home series.
Harang two wins this sim, pretty damn nasty. Smith had another win, morris pitched an ok game callaway and helling got rocked around a bit. Hitting is doing great. Arod is hitting the shit out of the ball, 13 hrs, 35 rbis. Cuddyer avg is moving up, he is hitting great.
We have a few spots to fill up with young guys, may be looking to move kennedy soon. Im going to need some good young pitchers to step up, think I can make a good run for the wild card.

pretty good sim for us to take us to 29-24 on the year. I'm really excited about these coming sims though since we've been playing well as of late and I just added Chipper and Paul LoDuca. Hopefully my starting pitching and bullpen can keep this up, even with Williamson being injured for the year. If they can, I feel like my hitting will be better with these two additions and we can be pretty successful this year.
