seriously, grow up aaron. I honestly don't care what the rules are, duh. Which is why I started up a thread and asked for everyone's thoughts. The fact that your telling me the "group" wants what you want when the only people to really give an opinion has been Krup, Duce, you and Spence. Mark, seriously, the league is still weeks away. I don't care what the rules are, take a joke. Relax. Get laid. Do drugs. Get HIV. I'm not telling you what people want. I'm just saying you clearly are pretty high on yourself and your opinions because you're running a Yahoo league. You can't downplay everything as a joke all you want, but you weren't kidding.

You are way off in roto, Martinez, a team can pick it up in a roto league. You can simply adjust your team accordingly to what you lack and its pretty fun and crafty. It shows the true champion instead of head to head where a whole season is decided by 1 week at the end of the season kind of lame.

i really dislike roto. i mean everything said is true, it's a far better measure of which team is the best during the course of a whole season.
but the lack of having to make changes several times per week creates serious boredom and is terrible for activity. with head to head you're constantly checking your team, trying to improve your record each week... relying on picking up the hot player... and it's just a better consistency check.
if there was a way to do head to head with no playoffs, i think that would be the best way.

See there is a big difference here in your comparison. They actually play the games themselves, we sit on in front of a computer screen. Who is to say that teams at the end of the season will rest their stars if they already clinched a playoff spot and will wreck you season. It's FANTASY league and I think the best way for basketball to be done is by roto not head to head. Head to Head is great for football and in some cases baseball but not for basketball. If your team has a commanding lead in lets say Rebounds you can then trade a player to gain ground in another category there is a lot of strategy involved. I think it really proves the best overall team at the end of the season. Not the team that just gets hot at the right time. Head to head does have its advantages though it does promote activity trying to juggle and reset lineups every week to gain a competitive edge but I still think it does injustice to basketball.
