question. How does a guy averaging nearly 2SPG for his career a bad defender?

Steals makes you a good defender? Id think most people would consider steals a small part of defense, and in FBB it is also just a small part of what makes up the defense grade.

I think that most people that watch LeBron play say his defense is his weakness. Id think his ratings ideally would be something like.... A- B+ B B+ C which is quite studly IMO.

I got tons of steals in my day and will admit my d stunk since I was way to lazy to consentrate my efforts into it. So spg dont mean shit. You take alot more gambles if you going for steals all game kinda like in football with corners going for the ball constently and they get burned badly when they miss it.

Yea, I agree, although I still think overall he is lengthy, quick and strong and is still a decent on-ball defender. It's his transition d and help(or team) d that blow, not that it even relates much to this game, but that's the price to pay for not going to college. It has improved still though.

Yep... no college ball hurts his "team defense." Though his pure athleticsm, quickness, and smarts allows him to be a solid 1 on 1 defender.

And at B+ that is pretty much fucking perfect. His ratings are perfect. Thanks.

im just bitter kobe isnt the best player by far in this league it's definitely crazy that kobe doesn't have better ratings...i thought for sure he'd be an A/B+ offense with A defense at least he puts up sick numbers

Kobe is cursed. he wont ever win another title. Promise. Karma will kick his ass until he retires, hes a complete bitch and deserves nothing.
Wade is an elite talent with the attitude to match his productivity. Id start my franchise with Wade everyday of the week.

As for ratings there isnt much that can be done. its pretty obvious that 100 potential doesnt always do what its supposed to do. Jon Bender had 100 potential. Miles had 100 potential. Kobe had 100 potential. Dirk had 100 potential.
