Tyson Chandler 7-1 235 High School Tyson Chandler is drawing rave reviews from scouts out in California. He has yet to sign a letter of intent with any colleges but might be close to signing on with UCLA. Strengths-Very good defender and rebounder. Should contribute as a rookie on the defensive end, and only get better. Weaknessess-While he is very athletic, he is also pretty clueless when it comes to scoring. He doesnt have a jump shot, and seems lost in the low block. Potential Rookie Ratings.... C D+ D+ B C+ A

Should contribute from Day 1. And he has lots of room to grow with RCs and weight room.

Tyson Chandler has been working out in Southern California with Theo Ratliff and Tony Battie of the LA Clippers. TC has already said that he thinks the fastest way for him to succeed is to be dominant on the defensive end.

depends on the needs for your team. if you don't need a center to score, then your ok.

I don't see how Tyson Chandler will be a late lotto pick, let alone a "solid" pickup. He should be a very good player.

Good to see Chandler working out with our guys. Hopefully he gets their defensive tenacity and instincts too.
