The new Hard Cap rule is, you cannot go over the Hard Cap. If you go over the Hard Cap you get no time to get back under. The Hard Cap penalties hit you automatically.

The Hard Cap
-The Hard Cap is $96,000,000. You cannot go over the Hard Cap. If you do go over you must forfeit all picks in the next 2 drafts(which must include at least 2 1sts), and you will also lose a player to waivers. You will also lose your MLE and LLE, and all FA privileges (even Bird rights) over the next 2 years. If you do not have 2 1sts over the next 2 years, I will take 2 1st of my choice.

if you sign a rookie FA for minimum, that's like 340K right?

Ill miss the excitement of TC as well as the boring tediousness of FA. So that kinda evens out.

It's 96 million, jesus Krup, stop whining.
If you can't keep your team under 96 million then it's your own damn fault.
The only thing I suggest is, some teams will go over just with contract increases from 1 year to the next, so I'd make an exception for that.

Will the cap be going down though? Im a bit confused about that since i saw somewhere about it going down to 90. Would like to know for future reference. I say we stay at 96 though.
